A 13-YEAR-OLD GIRL MAY DROP OUT OF SCHOOL 💔🙏

A heartbreaking situation has been brought to our attention at Save Our Children Foundation.

A 13-years-old girl in JSS3 at All Souls High School, Arigidi Street, Old Bodija, Ibadan is at risk of leaving school due to financial hardship.

Earlier this year, her father, who worked with the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, slept on January 20, 2026 and sadly never woke up again. His sudden death left the family devastated.

Before his passing, he had managed to pay ₦360,000 out of the ₦480,000 school fees for her JSS3 session. Sadly, he could not complete the payment before the tragic incident occurred, leaving a balance of ₦90,000.

The mother, a hairdresser who lives with a disability and uses crutches to walk, is now struggling alone to care for two children.

The most painful part is that this young girl has already begun telling her classmates that she may soon withdraw from school because her mother cannot afford to pay school fees. No child should have to watch her dreams end this way.

Looking ahead, her subsequent school fees from SS1 will be ₦140,000 per term, which is a heavy burden for the family in their current situation.

At Save Our Children Foundation, our mission is to ensure that children from vulnerable homes continue their education despite difficult circumstances.

We are therefore seeking scholarship support for this child so she can remain in school and complete her education.
If you feel moved to support this cause, please reach out to us.

“The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor.” (Prov.22:9).

“Education is the most powerful tool a child can use to change their future. When we support a child’s education, we do not just change one life - we help shape a better world.”

May kindness, compassion, and blessings never depart from every heart that chooses to help others. Together, we can keep this young girl in school and protect her future. 🙏💖.

🚨 URGENT APPEAL: HELP SAVE A NEWBORN BABY’S LIFE 🙏💔
My heart is heavy as I make this appeal.
A newborn baby at the University College Hospital (UCH) has been diagnosed with Omphalocele Minor — a defect in the abdominal wall where part of the baby’s organs are outside the body. Doctors have said urgent surgery is needed to close it and save this precious life.
The cost of the surgery is ₦600,000.
This baby has just entered the world and is already in a fight for survival. This innocent child deserves a chance to live, to grow, and to have a future.
Though our foundation focuses mainly on education, we cannot ignore a life-threatening situation like this. At the moment, our resources are limited because we recently paid a student’s school fees and are currently supporting another child with school materials. That is why we are reaching out to the public for urgent help.
Please, if you are blessed and able, no amount is too small. Your contribution could be the miracle this baby needs.

ALL GLORY TO GOD 🙏

On 17th December 2025, Save Our Children Foundation @5 successfully carried out its 5th Anniversary Outreach in Egbeda LGA, Ibadan, visiting Owobanle, Alagbede, Aba Kekere, Sodan Temidire, and Erunmu.
We fed 500 children with hot meals of jollof rice and chicken, drinks, snacks, and toy gifts. Many children shared that their parents could not afford to take them to visit Father Christmas, and they were overjoyed that he was brought to them free of charge.
The foundation also visited Rosario Orphanage Home, Samonda, Ibadan, presenting gifts including bags of rice, groundnut oil, and juice.
Save Our Children Foundation has impacted more than 5,000 lives through education and the welfare of indigent children, reaffirming its commitment to spreading hope, joy, and care to vulnerable children.

God’s Faithfulness at Work:Save Our Children Foundation @5 2nd Quarter Project

May the name of the Lord continually be glorified. To the glory of God, Save Our Children Foundation @5 successfully carried out our Second Quarter Project on the 24th of September, 2025.

Despite the financial obstacles we faced, God Almighty once again proved Himself faithful. Against all odds, He made it possible for us to reach out to indigent children in desperate need of basic educational materials.

The joy on the children’s faces was overwhelming as they received us with open hearts. Their teachers expressed deep gratitude, sharing the challenges they face daily—especially with many pupils lacking exercise books, uniforms, and other essentials.

📍 By God’s grace, we visited four schools:

St. John’s Anglican Pre-Basic Primary School, Igbo Oloyin, Ibadan

IDC Pre-Basic and Basic School, Akobo, Ojoo, Ibadan

IDC Primary School, Alaka, Ojoo, Ibadan

Methodist Primary School, Idi-Iroko, Ojoo, Ibadan

📦 At these schools, we distributed:
Exercise books, pencils, biros, erasers, rulers, and sharpeners to 500 pupils.School sandals to 50 pupils. New school uniforms to 23 pupils (carefully selected based on need).

All glory, honor, and praise return to God for making this project a reality and for using us as vessels to bring hope and smiles to these children. Truly, “The blessing of the Lord makes rich and adds no sorrow with it” (Proverbs 10:22).
✨ Together, we are changing lives and giving children a chance to dream again.
