FARDEP is a long-term commitment to strengthening farmers through data, resilience, and access to the right inputs.
We invite partners, donors, stakeholders, and friends of Anambra West to support the provision of yam seedlings and other critical farm inputs so farmers can fully utilize their lands.
Together, we can move from demonstration to scale.

Yam Seedlings Demonstration.

One key issue clearly identified during FARDEP is that many Anambra West farmers have land but lack yam seedlings, which is the most critical farm input.
To practically highlight this gap, ANAM Initiative used little internally raised funds to procure a small quantity of yam seedlings as a demonstration and advocacy action.
Though small, farmers received and shared them with joy, fully understanding that this was not the full intervention, but a call for support.
Beneficiaries were informed that as donations and grants come in, ANAM Initiative will return with the much-needed yam seedlings for their farmlands.

Exhibition of Farm Produce, Tools & Organic Stimulation Products.

FARDEP featured an exhibition of local farm produce, tools, hands-on learning, and organic crop/animal stimulation products, including , products of C&C Burford Consulting Ltd. Organic stimulation extraction for growth, protection and preservation of crops, animal and human health.
This session focused on knowledge sharing, value preservation, and practical solutions for improving yields and reducing losses.

Farmers from different communities in Anambra West turned out more than expected, showing commitment, interest, and readiness to farm if the right inputs and support are available.

FARDEP 2025 – Update!
On 26th December 2025, at Oroma Etiti Anam, ANAM Initiative successfully flagged off the Farmers Resilience and Data Empowerment Program (FARDEP) in Anambra West for Anambra West Farmers.
The program focused on farmer engagement, needs assessment, practical demonstrations for the needed Empowerment, and awareness creation for flood-resilient and productive farming.

THANK YOU FOR MAKING FARDEP FLAG-OFF A HISTORIC SUCCESS

We extend our profound gratitude to everyone who made the FARDEP Flag-Off a huge success. The energy, commitment, and massive turnout have strengthened our optimism that FARDEP will deliver lasting impact for farmers and communities in Anambra West.

Our sincere appreciation goes to all our partners and donors for believing in this vision and standing with us to build flood-resilient, productive farming systems.

We specially thank the ANAM Initiative Team for their dedication, resilience, and tireless efforts in turning this vision into action.

Great thanks to the President Generals (PGs) of all Communities in Anambra West for their partnership and great works in selecting farmers and making sure they all turn up physically for the flag off event.

Our heartfelt thanks to the Chairman, Anam Peoples Assembly; Sir Alex Okonkwo, for the leadership, support, and encouragement that made this milestone possible.

We are deeply grateful to the CEO of C&C Burford Consulting Ltd, producers of the Path Away Product, for their technical support and innovation in products that grow, protect, and preserve crops—critical to the success of FARDEP.
