At OROL we strive to remove pity and put smiles on the faces of less privileged children and young people Established in 2009, OROL is a youth led empowerment initiative that advocates for the sexual and reproductive health of Nigeria’s youth. Here at OROL, we strive to empower young people to BE the change, LEAD the change, and ENCOURAGE the change. Our activities cut across education, social awa
reness and advocacy for young people’s sexual and reproductive health and rights. OROL’s thematic focus includes: 1) capacity development, 2) youth leadership, 3) human rights advocacy, 4) gender equity and 5) youth empowerment
As role models to youth, we help them to make wise choices about their future especially about sexuality and relationships so that they can have long and full lives. Understanding that investing in young people’s leadership is essential to social change now and for the future, OROL has developed creative programs for and by young people. Our programs are designed to support the development of young people’s skills and to enable them to provide leadership on the issues that concern them. It offers engaging and dynamic activities to motivate and enable young people to believe in their abilities to catalyze change and to mobilize others to do the same.
