Congratulations, Dr. Numuworimi Yeitaribo (FCA) on Your Confirmation as Substantive Bursar, Niger Delta University.

On behalf of the Amassoma Graduates Forum (AGF), I extend our warmest congratulations to you on your confirmation as the Substantive Bursar of Niger Delta University (NDU).

We recall with great joy that on the 5th of May 2026, we delivered our Letter of Appreciation to the Vice Chancellor in support of your appointment as Acting Bursar. To see that trust now affirmed with your substantive appointment is a testament to your competence, integrity, and dedication to service.

The Forum is confident that your leadership will bring greater financial discipline, transparency, and growth to the University. We celebrate this milestone with you and pledge our continued support as you take on this greater responsibility.

Once again, congratulations sir. May your tenure be impactful and rewarding.

Open Letter To His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri

Congratulations on World Bank Recognition and Urgent Appeal for Completion of Government Secondary School, Amassoma

Your Excellency,

The Amassoma Graduates Forum (AGF), comprising indigenous graduates of tertiary institutions in Nigeria and across the diaspora, has the honor to congratulate you and your administration on the recent World Bank award.

We received with great joy the news of this recognition of Bayelsa State’s sound implementation of reforms in the education and health sectors. This commendation is a testament to your administration’s deliberate investment in human capital, transparency in project ex*****on, and commitment to improving access to quality healthcare and education across the state. The award has raised Bayelsa’s profile nationally and internationally, assuring our people that the reforms are yielding measurable results.

While we celebrate this milestone, I respectfully bring to your attention an urgent matter affecting education in Amassoma. The construction of the Government Secondary School, Amassoma—demolished over two years ago to make way for a modern facility—has stalled and is not progressing at the pace our students and community expected.

For more than two years, students have been displaced, learning under difficult conditions, and parents remain anxious about the future of this school, which has produced many leaders for the state and nation. The slow pace of work is beginning to erode public confidence in the project.

Your Excellency, we appeal for your direct intervention to ensure immediate mobilization of contractors, adequate funding release, and close monitoring to guarantee the quick completion and delivery of the school. Restoring GSS Amassoma will not only address the infrastructure gap but also align with the education reform agenda that earned the state the World Bank recognition.

We remain confident in your capacity to deliver and trust that this appeal will receive the urgent attention it deserves.

Please accept, Your Excellency, the assurances of our highest esteem and continued support.

Sincerely,
Elvis Adimie Ogede
