LEAD Transformation Initiative We dream of a Nigeria with an education-system that would raise youths who will creatively transform

Graduate unemployment, underemployment status in Nigeria has assumed a high dimension in recent times as more students are being churned out of our tertiary institutions without having access to jobs. Lead initiative was founded in 2014 by Titilayo Kemi and Femi Kings as a nongovernmental organization, operating in Ondo State of Nigeria. We envision youths equipped by a virile educational system t

o create outstanding and marketable innovations. We are passionately committed to motivate and transform high school graduates to become creative and innovative university graduates. We believe that the rate of unemployment in Nigeria can be reduced if our education system is redesigned to place a demand on youth intellect and create an enabling environment for students to learn and explore. We aim to run summer school camps for high school graduates for self-discovery, idea generation and Career Path. Training and advocacy camps with student’s leaders and students support service providers and also catalyze innovations amongst youths for alternative job opportunities through our agro-Incubation Centre curriculum.

In line with our vision of raising transformed minds for sustainable development, partnered with LEAD Transformation Initiative to equip some selected youths in Akure with practical skills on tomatoes production.

Harviseeds is a capstone group under the umbrella of the School of Politics, Policy and Governance.

It was day one of the training and we began by first subjecting the participants to our transformational curriculum.

Operation go green!

Our commitment at making a significant contribution to the restoration of the degraded environment remains resolute.

We continue this commitment with introduction of 1k gemlina trees into the rain forest.

This is an ongoing work that will see us adding about 20k indigenous and exotic species of trees into the Ondo State Forest Reserve in Ala area this year. With the joint efforts of our youths and the support of the rural inhabitants.

Remember, we don't plant trees we grow trees!

We are in the process for the rain fed tomatoes with seed nursing.

Every stage of farm activities requires attention and intentionality. But seed selection and preparation requires greater care, because it is the foundation upon which other stages greatly depend.

Any error at this stage will negatively affect every other stages of the production process.

We therefore ensure we cross all the Ts and dot all the Is to enjoy smooth plantation and bountiful harvest.

At LEAD Transformation Initiative ,we take into cognizance the health of our farm products and ensure that they thrive.

One of the consistent practices to doing so is the ongoing wetting of our tomatoes seedlings getting ready to start a new life as soon as they live the nursery.
