Esure Community is a vibrant sub-community of Ijoka under Akure South LGA, Ondo State. With over 20,000 residential houses and thousands of businesses and artisans, Esure is one of the most densely populated and youth-driven communities in Akure.

Over 70% of its active population are youths aged 18-40, powering sectors from fashion and building trades to tech repair, beauty, logistics, education, and digital services. The community is organized under the Esure Community Advocacy Group Ijoka (ECAG), which coordinates development, security, and youth engagement initiatives.

Our Strength is Our Youth. Our Future is Enterprise.

We are seeking partners to invest in skills development, small business support, and community infrastructure to turn Esure's youth energy into sustainable growth for Akure and Ondo State.

WHO WE ARE
Esure Community is located in Ijoka, Akure South. We are a fast-growing community with over 20,000 homes and businesses, known across Akure for its youthful population, resilience, and entrepreneurial spirit.

WHY ESURE MATTERS

• Youth Population: One of the highest youth concentrations in Akure metropolis.

• Economic Engine: Thousands of micro-businesses run daily by young entrepreneurs.

• Strategic Location: Gateway between Oda Road, Oluwatuyi, Alagbaka, Idanre ,Oshinle and Akure city center.

Esure Community is a sub-community of Ijoka under Akure South LGA, Ondo State. It's listed as having over 10,000 residential houses and businesses/artisans of different kinds, centered around Ijoka, Akure.

That density is exactly why it's seen as one of the most youth-driven areas in Akure:

• High youth population & enterprise — With that many houses and artisan shops in one cluster, most of the daily economic activity is run by young people — fashion, barbing, tech repair, POS, building trades, logistics.

• Active community structure — It even has its own advocacy body, the Esure Community Advocacy Group Ijoka - ECAG, which is registered as an NGO working within the community.

• Strategic location — Ijoka is one of the fast-growing corridors in Akure South, so Esure naturally pulls in youth from Oda road, and central Akure for affordable housing and hustle opportunities.

PRESS STATEMENT

SUBJECT: Passionate Appeal for Continuity of Road and Power Supply Projects in Esure Community

On behalf of the vibrant and peace-loving youths of Esure Community, off Ijoka Road, Akure South Local Government Area, I wish to express our profound gratitude to the Ondo State Government under the able leadership of His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for the attention given to our community in recent times.

Esure Community, with over 10,000 houses and home to thousands of artisans, traders, students and families, is a critical suburb of the state capital. The ongoing grading and road intervention and the recent improvement in power supply have brought renewed hope and ease of doing business to our people.

We passionately appeal for continuity and completion:

1. On Road: The internal roads in Esure Phase I, Phase II, Ijo-Mimo and Imole-Ayo have been graded but remain uncompleted especially during rainy season. The roads become impassable, affecting school children, market women, and artisans. We appeal for proper drainage and stone-base/asphalting to make them all-season roads.

2. On Power Supply: We appreciate the improved power supply in recent weeks. We appeal to the State Government to work with the BEDC and the Ministry of Energy to sustain it, replace weak transformers, and extend supply to the new extensions of Esure where youths run welding, barbing, tailoring and cold-room businesses.

The youths of Esure are law-abiding and have resolved to protect all government projects sited in our community. Continuity of these projects will further boost economic activities, reduce youth restiveness and strengthen our confidence in this administration's mantra of economic consolidation.

We also pledge our unflinching support for the administration of Governor Aiyedatiwa and his development agenda for Akure South and Ondo State at large.

We trust in the listening nature of Mr Governor.
