At Davdebby Foundation, the vision for an orphanage home in Akure goes beyond shelter. It is about stability, education, healthcare, emotional support, and a safe environment where children can grow with confidence. Every child deserves more than survival. Over 100 million children worldwide are homeless, sleeping on the streets, in unsafe shelters, or moving from place to place without stability. That number is not just data. It represents real children growing up without safety, structure, or a place to call home.

Davdebby Foundation is taking action. Plans are underway to establish a purpose-built orphanage home in Akure, with quality accommodation, learning spaces, healthcare support, and a safe environment where children can grow with dignity. This is not charity for show. This is a long-term responsibility.

Volunteers extend our capacity and bring diverse strengths that help us serve more children and families, and build stronger communities. Your work matters here and beyond.

Children should grow up safe, healthy, and learning. Child welfare means protecting kids from harm, abuse, neglect, and exploitation, and helping them reach their potential. Millions of children worldwide face violence, forced labour, and denial of rights because of poverty and lack of support.

Impact Recap From Last Year

Last year, Davdebby Foundation supported underprivileged families and children across communities.

We distributed essential food items, clothing, and care packages to 500 families in Ondo State during the festive season to ease hardship and spread hope.

We also supported public primary school pupils with scholarships, writing materials, footwear, and clothes to help them stay in school and succeed academically.

A new year begins with renewed purpose. Our focus stays clear. Serve children. Support widows. Protect the vulnerable. Strengthen communities.

Last year, lives were touched through outreach, mentorship, care, and guidance. Children received support. Families felt relief. Communities felt presence.

This year, the mission moves forward with more consistency, accountability, and impact. Education. Character building. Care for the less privileged. Community service across Ondo State and beyond.

We stand with young children, orphaned children, and less privileged children. We watch over them. We guide them. We listen to them.

We talk about vision. About purpose. About seeing a better future and believing they belong in it.

We teach values.

We mentor. We encourage. We correct with love. We help children understand choices shape tomorrow.
