FORGED IN BATTLE, CROWNED BY HERITAGE, DRIVEN BY SERVICE: CELEBRATING HRH Akinwumi Adekanbi

Today, we, the good people of Isinkan Kingdom celebrate with gratitude and pride His Royal Highness, Prince Akin Adekanbi, the Olu Okeilero Isinkan, on the occasion of his birthday.

A Prince of the revered Isinkan Kingdom and a retired soldier, Kabiyesi has brought to traditional leadership the courage, discipline, resilience and strategic wisdom acquired from years of service to the nation.

Having faced battles at the war front, he has continued to demonstrate that same strength of character in winning the battles of community development, peace and progress. Since assuming the traditional leadership of Okeilero–Itaoniyan Community in Akure South Local Government Area, his reign has been characterised by purposeful leadership and a determined pursuit of development.

As a community under the Isinkan Kingdom, Okeilero–Itaoniyan has, under his watch, continued to attract developmental opportunities. The recent siting of a private College of Education in the community is yet another significant milestone, opening new possibilities for education, youth empowerment and socio-economic growth.

Kabiyesi, your life represents a remarkable blend of royal heritage, military courage and service to humanity. From the battlefield to the traditional throne, you have continued to stand as a man who confronts challenges with courage and pursues victory for his people.

On this special day, we pray that the Almighty will continue to preserve your life, strengthen your crown, increase your wisdom and grant you many more years of impactful service.

May your reign continue to bring honour to the Isinkan Kingdom, progress to Okeilero–Itaoniyan and prosperity to your people.

The Iralepo of Isinkan, His Royal Majesty Oba Oluwagbemiga Olofin-Adimula, today officially unveiled Prince Sunday Ariyo as the Olori Omo'wa Iralepo Isinkan, alongside Prince Adefila as the Deputy Olori Omo'wa, during the Iwuye ceremony held at Prince Ariyo's residence on Ondo Bypass, Isinkan.

The ancient town of Isinkan is currently hosting the annual Oriperi Festival, a revered cultural ceremony during which chiefs, titled elders, and traditional leaders pay homage to the Iralepo of Isinkan, Oba Oluwagbemiga Olofin-Adimula (Arulewolasi III).

The age-old ceremony, taking place within the royal courtyard at Ita-Owa, has drawn chiefs, lineage heads, and community leaders, resplendent in traditional regalia, as they continue to reaffirm their allegiance to the monarch and offer prayers for the peace, unity and prosperity of the kingdom.
