*The Olumoh Effect: Progress in Motion Across Iya Ojo, Sanni, Ezeagu, and Ojo Road*
During the week, Dr Promise and myself visited some key sites undergoing construction in Ajeromi Ifelodun constituency 1.
We were stunned by the rapid progress.
Sometimes, you don’t need a press release to know that leadership is working.
You only need to take a walk down Iya Ojo Street.
You only need to see the bulldozers, the heaps of sand, and the determined faces of engineers drenched in effort.
You only need to feel the heartbeat of a community that’s finally seeing the change they voted for.
That’s the Olumoh effect; a transformation not written in slogans but etched in asphalt and sweat.
From Iya Ojo to Sanni Street, from Ezeagu to the ambitious Ojo Road construction, Hon. Lukmon Olumoh, the Member representing Ajeromi-Ifelodun Constituency 1 at the Lagos State House of Assembly, is rewriting the story of infrastructural neglect.
For years, residents of these areas battled with bad roads, flooding, and the frustration of being forgotten.
But today, the narrative is shifting and it’s shifting fast.
At Iya Ojo Street, the sound of progress is unmistakable.
Drains are being reconstructed, and water channels are being cleared with precision and foresight.
The residents can now breathe a sigh of relief, knowing that the era of flooded compounds and impassable roads is fast fading away.
Sanni Street tells a similar story; one of transformation, resilience, and gratitude.
The road is gradually taking a new shape, thanks to the professional hands of the contractors handling the project.
Every brick laid, every gutter covered, and every portion tarred speaks of commitment; the kind of commitment that comes from a leader who means business.
And then there’s Ezeagu Street; a name that once meant inconvenience but now symbolizes hope.
The construction team has maintained a consistent pace, ensuring that the project doesn’t just begin well but ends beautifully.
It’s not just about fixing roads; it’s about restoring pride.
It’s about giving the people a sense of belonging; proof that their representative sees them, hears them, and is working for them.
Then there’s the crown jewel..
The Ojo Road construction.
A project that has captured the admiration of both residents and observers alike.
This is no ordinary road.
It’s a gateway; one that will ease movement, boost local businesses, and link communities more seamlessly.
The contractors deserve every word of praise.
Their professionalism is visible in every layer of gravel, in every stretch of concrete, in every drain perfectly aligned.
They have demonstrated consistency and technical brilliance rarely seen in community-level projects.
No shortcuts. No abandoned sections. No excuses.
Just results; visible, measurable, and deeply impactful.
Under Hon. Olumoh’s watch, progress has stopped being a promise.
It has become a culture.
A culture of delivery.
A culture of responsiveness.
A culture that has restored public confidence in governance.
Residents of Iya Ojo, Sanni, Ezeagu, and Ojo Road now wake up each morning to the sight of transformation happening before their eyes.
Children now play on smoother grounds.
Traders now open their shops without worrying about puddles or blocked paths.
Drivers now navigate freely, thankful for a road network that finally makes sense.
And in all of this, one thing stands clear..
Hon. Lukmon Olumoh is not just representing; he is rebuilding.
Brick by brick.
Street by street.
Hope by hope.
His name has become synonymous with visible progress, his works a testimony that public service, when done right, is the highest form of gratitude to the people.
For every street touched, there’s a family that smiles again.
For every drainage cleared, there’s a household protected from flood.
For every patch of tar laid, there’s a business that will thrive.
That is what leadership should look like.
Not noise, not drama; just impact.
As Ajeromi-Ifelodun witnesses this wave of development, one truth echoes louder than ever.
Hon. Olumoh is setting a new benchmark for constituency service.
And with contractors so dedicated, professional, and consistent in their delivery, it’s safe to say that Ajegunle is rising again.
Because when a leader leads with purpose, the people follow with pride.
And that is exactly what’s happening one street, one project, one victory at a time.
May Olumoh succeed !
