SPEECH BY COMRADE ADARABIERIN ADEFEMI, INCOMING PRESIDENT, ARAROMI YOUTH VANGUARD
Good day, sir/ma, esteemed members of the Board of Trustees, distinguished stakeholders, devoted members of the Araromi Youth Vanguard, and honored invitees.
Standing on the existing protocols, I begin by thanking the Almighty for granting us the grace to gather here today. This is no ordinary occasion—it is a celebration of progress, continuity, and the boundless potential that resides within each of us as members of this great forum. The Araromi Youth Vanguard, established on the 12th of May, 2024, was envisioned as a beacon of unity and a catalyst for development in our community. It is with profound gratitude and humility that I accept the responsibility to lead this forum at such a pivotal moment in its history.
A Legacy of Excellence
Let me first acknowledge the extraordinary achievements of the outgoing administration under the leadership of Comrade Bade Gboyega Tope. History will remember this era as one that laid a foundation upon which transformation becomes inevitable.
The successful registration of the Araromi Youth Vanguard with the government was more than a procedural milestone—it was a declaration of our collective identity and our commitment to the principles of accountability and inclusivity. This achievement provides a springboard for the incoming administration to forge meaningful partnerships and secure tangible benefits for our community. The drafting of the vanguard’s constitution was an exercise in vision and unity. It demonstrated our ability to come together, deliberate, and establish a framework that safeguards the interests of all. This document is not just a guide but a living testament to our shared resolve. The infrastructural projects initiated by the outgoing administration, now 70% complete, stand as a beacon of our shared determination. These projects reflect the promise of what we can achieve when we work together with purpose and perseverance. It is my solemn pledge that under this administration, these projects will not only be completed but will also serve as the bedrock for future initiatives that will uplift every resident of our community.
