Topic: know why you suffer.
Text: 1Peter 4:15 "But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters."

Message: salvation is no guarantee of a life without trial, it is the guarantee for a life of triumph. It is not the guarantee for a life of no challenges but for a life of victory.

It is important anyway to know where your challenges and suffering comes from. It is not everyone that left for the cross that went to die for the sin of others. Some die there for their personal sin. Not everyone being persecuted if for righteoness sake.

It is better to be lied against and suffer for it than to suffer for your lies. If you are persecuted for righteousness sake, Jesus said you are blessed but if you are persecuted for your wrong doings, can you be blessed?

The guilty can only plead for mercy only the righteous can fight their cases. Do not be decieved, not every problem you go through is from the devil, some are self inflicted. In that case, can you rebuke satan? You can only run to God for mercy.

When you are caught in the trap of satan, that is not the time to claim your place in Christ. Its a time to beg Christ. When you are suffering for the evil you did, you are not being persecuted but prosecuted.

There are lawful captives you know? You can't be angry that i messaged you to demand my money if you owe me. But if i dont owe you, i have every right to stop you from messaging me. Stop having what belongs to satan and acting like you dont know him.

There is a place of mercy for the messy but dont be a prodigal son approaching the father like the one in the house all along. Don't be surprised or emotional that you feed with the pigs if you left the house in the first place. When you suffer for sin and you still claim your right, that is avoidance but what you need is repentance.

Topic: Leave sin. Part 2.
Text: 1 John 3:8 "He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil."

Message: You can't be my son. Look and act like another man, not in my family or your mother's family. Then you are a bastard. If you claim to be a child of God and continue to sin; you are a bastard.!

Every fruits is determined by their seeds. Every tree is determined by their family. You are only bearing the fruits that are seeded in you. The kind that you are is proved by the act you display openly or secretly.

Follow me closely. The text says, "He that commits sin," which means someone who actively lives in sin. Someone who sits, plans to sin. Someone who is not done yet with sin, someone who happily continues to sin. Such people can't claim to be children of God.

The day a mad man knows he's mad, he's healed.! The day you recognise the madness and low standard of sin, you are free. The day you say enough is enough with sin. You are certified a child of God.

The son of God came to destroy the works of the devil, right? How can you be doing that same work of the devil God sent his son to destroy? Yet, you are claiming to be God's child? Please explain to me?

I have yet to hear that sin left anyone. No! It doesn't. It accompanies even to the grave. It is people that would leave sin. If you won't leave your sin, your sin will not leave you.

There is no better time to quit any sin than right now! No better day than today. The longer you stay in sin, the more difficult it is to quit. No matter how little or much one thing is sure; sin stings and sinks.

Prayer: Dear God, grant us grace to leave sin. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Text: John 5:14 "Afterwards Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.

Message: Do you remember the topic word and opposite in school? Let's do that together: what is the opposite of go and sin no more so that something worse will not happen to you? That would be; continue sinning so that something worse can happen to you.

Many people think that the consequences of sin are in the world hereafter, but no; they are also here on earth. Many people think that death is an escape of sin, but no! repentance is the only escape.

God has given you conscience. It is the spiritual traffic signs of caution to stop, quit, slow down, and turn around. If you constantly disobey yours, you will kill it, and soon, you may become the man that you never imagine.

Sin is sweet. The ending is very bitter. It's so bitter that you will forget the initial sweetness. You can be fat in sin for many years, but lose that weight in no time. You can build a fortune with sin for years but be unfortunate in hours.

Sin will rob you of your spiritual standard. You will be mocked by those you should pity, equated with those that should look up to you, and you will spiritually polluted by those you should deliver.

Hate sin, my dear friend, or else you will hate yourself. You see that thought that some people sin and they are fine is a trap. Yes, some sin and live good till they die, but they are sons of perdition destined for hell. Are you one?

You have no standard if you have not set the standard of no sin! You have no spiritual standard until you have Godly sorrow enough to repent from your wrong ways. Dont wait until the weight of sin waste away your precious life and time. They say its impossible to live Holy. It's a lie! There is grace. There is the Holy Spirit.

Prayer: Dear God. We receive grace to forsake sin and sin no more. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Topic: Remember to pray.
Text: 1 Thessalonians 5 : 17 "Pray without ceasing."

Message: Remember to pray when the going is smooth, you need God to sustain you. Remember to pray when the going gets rough, you need God to straighten it.

Prayer should be a lifestyle in your lifetime. Always should be the standard. Anything short of that is deficient. It will make you live below the standard of living for children of God.

If indeed you have the Holy Spirit, if indeed God lives in you, how do you find it easy not to speak with him for hours and days? The true evidence of relationships is communication.

You can't live a high life on a low prayer life. You are gradually leaking if you're not praying. Excuses not withstanding. The effect of a poor prayer life might not show in a day, but it will eventually show. It may be gradual, but certain.

I have often said that prayer is not just an emergency therapy, its a daily exercise. You don't need motivation to pray, you need discipline and commitment to do. If you need no one to motivate your communication with your earthly parents, why do you need it for your heavenly father.?

Be careful when things seem fine, even without a great prayer life. Like a poultry, Satan feeds those he wants to slaughter. Sometimes, the smoothness and speed on the road do not mean all is well. It may mean a free fall.

Today is the best day to set a standard for tomorrow and the future that you desire. If you will be willing to live a standard life tomorrow, one of the standards you need today is a standard prayer life.

Text: 2 Thessalonians 3:10 "For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat."

Message: You are on your way to real independence when you accept the truth that no one owes you anything, but you owe yourself everything.

The dependent spirit will rub you off your true potential. It will short change you in God's plans to truly and fully bless you.

The entrepreneurial skill in me came alive the day I realised that I was only privileged to receive anything from my parents. There are orphans out there. There are even those whose parents are alive but not alive.

Why should you be angry that someone is not giving you. You just sit, assume someone has enough, and you should be the recipient? Whatever you can't do for yourself, don't be angry anyone is not doing for you.

People fail in their responsibilities. Fine. But you are your own responsibility. Your uncle should not carry your burden because he's the brother to your dad or mum who had you.

Because some people look fine doesn't mean they are fine. Even if they are fine, why should they be fine for you? The best givers will sacrifice what they have, the usual giver from the overflow of what they have, but the best you can have is the one you have by yourself.

Stop expecting something if you are doing nothing. Manna stopped falling immediately foot was set on the promised land. Truth be told, sometimes people deserve to be poor. If you are doing nothing and you depend on even poor sources, you deserve to be poor.

The standard is unambiguous; if you will not work, you should not eat. Don't get it twisted. If you will not work, let those who work enjoy the fruits of their labour. In the school of breakthrough, you labour and God favours. In the school of begging, you do not labour but ask only for favour.

Prayer: Dear God, grant us direction, grace, and strength for labour. In Jesus name. Amen.

Topic: Stay healthy.
Text: Exodus 33:14 "And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest"

Message: Take good care of yourself. In fact, do it so well that anyone who wants to take care of you knows that there is a high standard already.

It's irresponsible to expect anyone to take care of you if you won't take care of yourself. The only reason you may depend on people for your personal care is if you are sick. And often, we fall sick because we won't take care of ourselves.

They have told you that if you sleep too much, you will spend a good part of your life sleeping. Well, in my opinion, why should I stay awake if I have nothing to do? Again, adequate sleep is good for brain function. You must find a balance.!

It's good to save. You are not safe anyway if you save at the expense of your personal care. If you keep money and you are unkempt, the money you kept will be used to care for you in emergencies, and in case you die the remaining will be shared by those who didn't keep the money with you.

It's good to look out for people, but dont lose yourself in the process. It is good to be hardworking, but don't break down in the process. It is good to be good but bad to be good if you're not good.

A healthy diet is not extravagant living. It is the standard for living. In fact, it's an investment. Your constant health challenges may not be demonic attacks but nutrition deficiency. Eat well always.

Rest before you are forced to rest. Take a break before you break down. Eat well before they start recommending your meals, drink water before you're dehydrated, and rest peacefully before you rest in peace. Always remember; you can die sick filled with the Holy Spirit.

Prayer: Dear God, grant us grace to be wise in our self care. In Jesus' name. Amen.
