Meet the Superbugs: 🦠

Enterobacterales can cause serious illnesses such as pneumonia, bloodstream infections, and urinary tract infections. When they become resistant, treatment options become limited and hospital stays get longer.

The World Health Organization (WHO) lists Carbapenem-Resistant Enterobacterales (CRE) as a critical priority pathogen, meaning urgent action is needed to prevent and control their spread.

We can all help fight antibiotic resistance:

• Use antibiotics only when prescribed by a qualified health professional.
• Practice proper hand hygiene and infection prevention.
• Support awareness efforts about antimicrobial resistance (AMR).

Together, we can stop superbugs before they stop us.
