A new month, a renewed responsibility.

April is not just a change in calendar, it is another opportunity to shape boys into grounded, responsible, and emotionally intelligent men. A lot of boys are growing up without guidance, without structure, without models of what healthy masculinity should look like. And the consequences are showing up everywhere.

This month, we recommit to doing the work of mentoring, educating, guiding, and showing boys what they should become, not just what they should avoid. We believe that when boys are intentionally raised, communities become safer, families become stronger, and the future becomes more stable.

As we step into April, we invite you to be part of this journey. Support the mission. Amplify the message. Invest in the boychild.

Because the men we complain about tomorrow are the boys we fail to train today.

During the hygiene outreach at one of the schools we visited, we noticed something that really stayed with us; three boys came to school without uniforms.

They were present, but you could tell they didn’t feel comfortable. They tried to act normal, but it was obvious they felt different and no child should have to feel that way in a place meant for learning.

We couldn’t walk away from it and so through our Education Support Program, we provided school uniforms to the boys.

For many people, a uniform is just clothing. But for a child, it can mean , , and the difference between showing up or staying home to focus on learning.

This is the work we do here at The Boythrive; removing small but powerful barriers that keep boys from fully accessing education and thriving.

Thank you to everyone who makes this possible.
If you’d like to support us to reach more boys, we’re open to donations and partnerships. 🤍

This International Women’s Day, the theme reminds us that progress grows when we intentionally support and empower women and girls.

At The Boythrive Initiative for Inclusive Growth and Empowerment, we believe raising boys who value respect, equity, and shared leadership is key to building a more inclusive society.

When we give opportunities, support, and voice to women, we all gain a stronger and more equitable future.

We concluded our hygiene outreach at Messiah schools in Ijero LGA, Ekiti State.

Through this project, we are teaching boys that self-care is part of positive masculinity and that cleanliness, responsibility, and looking after your body are strengths, not weaknesses.

This is how healthy habits, confidence, and wellbeing start early.

We are grateful to our volunteers and every other person who has contributed to the success of this project.

We keep the flag flying!

Today is the International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Ge***al Mutilation (FGM).

FGM is not culture
It is not discipline
It is not tradition
It is purely VIOLENCE❌❌❌

FGM violates the rights, dignity, and well-being of girls and women. It leaves lifelong physical pain, emotional trauma, and psychological scars that no child should ever have to carry.

A girl’s body is not a tradition to be altered.
A girl’s future should never be negotiated.

We believe in protecting children, promoting dignity, and raising a generation that understands that harmful practices must end, no matter how normalized they have become.

Let us speak up.
Let us educate.
Let us protect.
We must end FGM.
Stop the cut. Protect her future.

February is usually that month that is loud about . But here The Boythrive Initiative For Inclusive Growth and Empowerment, we are focusing on something deeper which is teaching boys self-love that builds discipline, empathy, and direction.

For boys, self-love should look like:

🤩 Knowing their worth without trying to prove it.

🤩Asking for help when things get tensed.

🤩Choosing over shortcuts.

🤩Walking away from social vices that can cost them their future.

When boys value themselves, they do not need to harm others or be toxic to feel powerful.
They build. They lead. They thrive.

Happy New Month from all of us at The Boythrive👏👏

We are excited to share the launch of our Hygiene Project for Boys at St. Matthew Nursery and Primary School, Ijero-Ekiti, one of the four selected schools for this project.

The session reached 70 pupils (30 boys and 40 girls) and three dedicated teachers, creating a shared learning space around the importance of personal hygiene and self-care from an early age.

Each pupil received a hygiene kit containing a toothbrush, toothpaste, laundry soap, bathing soap, and a face towel which are simple but essential tools that support dignity, confidence, and healthy daily habits.

While this project centers on improving hygiene outcomes for boys, the inclusive approach reinforces that good hygiene is a collective responsibility, one that supports healthier classrooms, better learning, and overall wellbeing.

This is just the beginning as we continue our hygiene outreach across schools in Ijero LGA, Ekiti State, investing in boys today to build healthier men tomorrow.

As we step into a new year, we renew our commitment to raising healthier, emotionally grounded, and socially responsible boys.

2026 is a year of:

• Partnerships that translate vision into measurable impact

We are moving beyond conversations into action by creating safe spaces, amplifying voices, and shaping a generation of boys who are empowered to thrive, not just survive.
