Today on World Humanitarian Day 2026, themed "Strengthening Global Solidarity and Empowering Local Communities," we honour the courage of frontline aid workers who risk everything to . From conflict zones to climate disasters, local communities are always the first to respond and the last to leave.

Global solidarity means more than just sending aid, it means standing shoulder-to-shoulder with local leaders, protecting humanitarian workers from harm, and upholding international law.

Let’s join hands to support those who serve and ensure no community faces crisis alone.

From Silence to Safety!

Our organisation joined key stakeholders, government officials, security personnel, and civil society partners at the "From Silence to Safety" Summit in Ekiti State to tackle human trafficking, femicide, and gender-based violence, organised by Restoration for All Inc. in collaboration with the Africa Foundation for Economic Growth and Empowerment (AFEG), held at Adetiloye Hall, Ado-Ekiti.

During the keynote address by the Ekiti State Commissioner for Women Affairs & Social Development , Mrs. Olapeju Babafemi, she mentioned that the summit reinforced that no single institution can address these challenges alone. We fully align with the Ekiti Call to Action's core priorities: Prevent, Protect, Prosecute & Promote Accountability, Partner, and Empower.

As an organisation, we remain deeply committed to moving beyond conversations to meaningful action, safeguarding the dignity, safety, and rights of women, girls, and vulnerable populations. From awareness to action, we all have a role to play.

New month, same mission, stronger commitment! Welcome to August! We are energized and ready to continue serving the vulnerable with love and dedication.

Our organization had the absolute honour of joining Nigeria Youth Congress Ekiti Chapter for the Pad Up 5.0 initiative at Ekiti Baptist High School, Igede-Ekiti, brought together bright minds from Ekiti Baptist High School, Iropora High School, Okunsusi Jerimiye Comprehensive High School, Martha Christi Girls' School, Government College (Awo), and Awo Community High School.

During the session, our Executive Director equipped these young girls with essential menstrual health education—covering proper hygiene, correct pad usage, sustainable reusable alternatives, and the impact of sugary drinks on menstrual wellness—while Pharm. Faith Omotayo expertly addressed the prevention of hygiene-related infections.

Ending the day with engaging student questions, free sanitary pads, and reusable pad samples for each school's representatives, it was a profound reminder that age-appropriate education is a game-changer for the girl-child.

We sincerely thank the Nigeria Youth Congress for the platform to create impact!

𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅 𝑫𝒂𝒚 𝑨𝒈𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒕 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒏 𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒔 2026

In continuation of our community impact and in commemoration of World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, under the theme “Trapped Behind the Scam”), as a member of NACTAL Ekiti, we took our advocacy to the streets. We sensitized traders and buyers at the Oja-Oba market in Ikere-Ekiti on the deceptive tricks traffickers use, particularly how they now leverage online platforms to fake jobs and force victims into cyber scams.

With the school holidays now here, we also raised awareness on child abuse, urging parents and guardians to stay vigilant and closely watch over their wards.

It was an immensely enlightening session with truly encouraging responses, especially from the market women who deeply appreciated the vital information shared.

As an organization, we implore the general public not to get trapped behind the scam: When you see something, say something. Kindly reach out to us to report any suspicious activities.
