Every child deserves a childhood defined by safety, not survival.

Today, we join the world in observing the 2026 International Day for Street Children. Our message is clear: Protect, not Punish. Children in street situations aren't looking for a sentence; they are looking for a safety net and a chance at a future.

Join Goldheart Foundation as we advocate for the dignity, rights, and protection of every vulnerable child. Together, we can turn the street into a path toward a better life.

Our Executive Director, dowolegoldmoyinoluwa attended the Launch of the Ekiti State Policy on Gender in Education, an event organized by the Ekiti State Ministry of Education under Adolescent Girls' Initiative for Learning and Empowerment Project (AGILE). The event took place at the Lady Jibowu Hall, Government House in Ado-Ekiti.

The program was headlined by Her Excellency, Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji, the Wife of the Governor, who was represented by the Hon. Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development. On behalf of Her Excellency, the Commissioner delivered the keynote address and officially launched the policy.

The event featured a comprehensive overview of the new gender policy presented by Barr. Shirley Atane, alongside goodwill messages from key stakeholders, including the Commissioners for Education and Information.

The policy operates through seven strategic pillars, focusing on increasing school enrollment, promoting STEM education for girls, and training teachers in gender-responsive pedagogy. It also emphasizes the use of sex-disaggregated data to ensure all interventions remain evidence-based and impactful.

This launch represents a significant step forward in institutionalizing gender equality within the educational framework of Ekiti State, prioritizing the empowerment and academic advancement of adolescent girls.

As an organization, we will leverage this new policy framework to deepen our advocacy and collaborative efforts. We remain committed to supporting the stateโ€™s objectives by monitoring the implementation of these safeguards and ensuring that every child in our community has access to a safe, inclusive, and transformative learning environment.

Today is World Health Day 2026, and at Goldheart Foundation, we are reaffirming our commitment to a healthier, more equitable world for everyone.

Health isn't just the absence of illness; itโ€™s a fundamental human right. By standing with science and working together, we can bridge the gaps in healthcare and ensure that the most vulnerable among us are never left behind.

Letโ€™s build a future where quality healthcare is accessible to all, no matter where they live.

As a member of NEWSAN Ekiti, our organization joined the Ekiti State Sustainable Rural, Urban Water, and Sanitation (SURWASH) program, along with various CSOs and MDAs, to walk in commemoration of World Water Day 2026.
Themed 'Water and Gender,' the walk commenced at Adebayo and concluded at Fajuyi. We marched to educate the public on the importance of preserving water and the specific impact water security has on women and girls.

As an organization, we remain committed to this vital advocacy.
