Programs like this will have impact across multiple sectors of the society as it is driven towards making young ladies become stronger agents of positive change.

We believe that when a young lady is able to make their own decisions about education, career, relationships and health, they will have a great sense of self-worth, autonomy and ability to pursue their personal goals without relying on others.

We understand that this is a productive way to build women with increased self confidence and independence, enhance their leadership economic capacity, achieve womens freedom from cycle of poverty, and contribute to the reduction in , so that they can become stronger members of the community with tangible contributions to social changes.

This is the objective of our two days with selected young ladies from our university membership program.

The move to repeal the Violence Against Persons (Prohibition) (VAPP) Act 2015, through a bill sponsored by Senator Jibrin Isah, has generated diverse reactions. An assessment of the Repeal Bill reveals the sections that raise concerns, justifying the agitation of many Nigerians.

In this video, we explore the potential consequences of repealing the VAPP Act and propose actions that should be taken instead.

Watch the full video here: https://youtu.be/m7P3tVU0hj4
Instead of repealing the VAPP Act, why not review it?

We urge all Nigerians and advocacy groups to closely monitor this development while engaging lawmakers to ensure the VAPP Act is reviewed, not repealed.
