They said girls don’t belong in tech.
She didn’t argue. She showed up, learned, and stayed.

Now, girls are not just in tech. They are creating it.
Shaping it.
Questioning it.
Improving it.

And ensuring it works for everyone.

When girls rise in ICT, the world rises with them.

Happy International Girls in ICT Day!

Imagine wanting to learn but having no school to attend, no teacher to guide you, and no books to read.

For 251 million children and youth worldwide, this is their daily reality.

Education remains one of the most powerful tools to break cycles of poverty and inequality. Yet millions of children—especially those in rural and marginalized communities—are still excluded.

At SARAFACDI, we are committed to changing this narrative by expanding access to education, digital learning, and opportunities for underserved children.

Every child deserves a chance to learn, grow, and dream.

Artificial Intelligence is already part of our daily lives, from smartphones to social media. It is no longer a “future” skill, it is a present reality.

For secondary school students, especially at the grassroots, early exposure to AI helps them think beyond just using technology to actually creating solutions. It builds critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

AI is not only about coding. It teaches students how systems work, how decisions are made, and how to use technology responsibly.

If we start now, we empower young people to solve real problems in their communities and prepare them for opportunities ahead.

At SARAFACDI, we believe every child deserves that chance.

Every child can learn.
Just not in the same way, or on the same day.

In classrooms across our communities, there are children who are often misunderstood, not because they lack ability, but because the system hasn’t adapted to them.

Some learn by seeing.
Some by doing.
Some just need a little more time, patience, and belief.

At SARAFACDI, we believe that no child is “slow” or “incapable.” Every child carries potential waiting for the right environment to thrive.

Inclusive education is not a privilege, it is a necessity.

This week, let’s choose to see ability before limitation.
Let’s choose to support, not label.
Let’s choose to believe.

📚Education changes lives.

A child supported through SARAFACDI’s Back2School Initiative scored an outstanding 94% overall in their school report.

This is what happens when children are given the opportunity to learn. Every scholarship, school bag, and notebook brings a child closer to a brighter future.

Together, we can ensure no child is left behind.

Event Highlights: International Women’s Day Webinar 2026

Yesterday, SARAFACDI in partnership with EME Foundation successfully hosted a powerful International Women’s Day webinar themed “Rights, Justice & Digital Access: Empowering Rural Girls for an Equal Future.”

The conversation brought together inspiring speakers and participants from different countries who shared valuable insights on advancing gender equality, digital inclusion, and opportunities for rural girls.

Our speakers highlighted the importance of:
• Expanding digital access for girls in underserved communities
• Promoting justice and equal opportunities in education and technology
• Empowering young women to lead and thrive in the digital age

We are grateful to our amazing speakers, moderator, partners, and everyone who joined the X Space conversation and contributed to this meaningful dialogue.

Together, we continue to advocate for a future where every girl—regardless of where she is born—has access to education, technology, and opportunity.
