As a final activity for the quarter, we successfully conducted an exit Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with selected community stakeholders took place on the 3rd September, 2025 at the Olojudo's Palace, Ido ward 1, Ido Ekiti.

The discussion served to analyze our healthcare intervention at the Basic Health Centre, Oju-Oja Ido since the commencement of our activity at the facility, to identify outstanding challenges, and collaboratively development strategies in overcoming them.

We remain dedicated to delivery of quality healthcare services in the facility, as we mobilise more support for the facility especially with the challenge of inadequate facility space.

The crucial role of early detection in Childhood TB/HIV cannot be overstated. Given the heightened vulnerability of children, prompt testing is essential for providing immediate, life-saving treatment.

We concluded our Childhood TB/HIV Testing Week on September 24, 2025, with a successful community outreach at the Basic Health Centre, Oju-Oja Ido Ekiti. The event focused on sensitization and comprehensive testing for both the children and adult populations.

We successfully reached 42 individuals (22 female, 20 male), which included 20 children (14 boys, 6 girls).

We sincerely appreciate all whose efforts made this outreach a success. We strongly encourage parents to maintain vigilant monitoring of their children's health and to report any suspected symptoms to any health facility close to them without delay.
