Today is World Day Against Trafficking in Persons.

Many people still believe false promises of opportunities abroad for their children, only for those children to end up as victims of human trafficking, sexual exploitation, or forced prostitution.

Let's stand together to end child trafficking, child abuse, sexual exploitation, and prostitution. Be vigilant, speak up, and report suspicious activities. Together, we can protect our children and build safer communities.

Standing Against Human Trafficking

In commemoration of World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, Bibi Grace Foundation participated in a market sensitisation organised by the Network Against Child Trafficking, Abuse and Labour (NACTAL), of which the Foundation is a registered member.

The sensitisation engaged market traders on the dangers of child trafficking, child labour, sexual exploitation, and deceptive migration promises. Through this participation, we reaffirmed our commitment to raising awareness and supporting efforts to protect children and prevent human trafficking in our communities.

Community development matters, it changes the trajectory of things.

Recently, our program manage represented our organization at the commissioning of a borehole project by Olive Grange Foundation in a school that had long struggled with access to clean water.

The excitement and smiles on the faces of the children said it all. What may seem like a simple project can completely change daily life, giving students access to safe water and easing the burden they once faced.

This is the impact that keeps NGOs going—the joy, hope, and lasting change that come from meeting real needs. We are glad to have witnessed and been part of such a meaningful initiative.

The Child Protection Network (CPN), Ekiti State Chapter, successfully held its quarterly stakeholders' meeting, bringing together partners and child protection stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and advance efforts toward safeguarding children across the state.

The meeting provided a valuable platform to review progress, share experiences, address emerging child protection concerns, and reaffirm our collective commitment to ensuring every child grows up in a safe and protective environment.
