Nigeria and Bangladesh are building new bridges for trade, investment, and women-led enterprise.

The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) welcomed a delegation from the Bangladesh Nigeria Chambers of Commerce and Industry (BNCCI) to explore a strategic partnership focused on empowering women entrepreneurs, strengthening agricultural value chains, and unlocking opportunities across agriculture, healthcare, energy, pharmaceuticals, and textiles.

With the ACCI Women Enterprise Accelerator Programme (WEAP) at the heart of the proposed collaboration, both organisations reaffirmed their commitment to fostering innovation, sustainable business growth, and stronger bilateral economic ties that create lasting value for businesses in both countries.

Together, we are advancing partnerships that drive inclusive growth, expand market opportunities, and strengthen the future of enterprise.

Nigeria’s brightest ideas belong in the marketplace, not just in the laboratory.

That was the focus as the Abuja Chamber Of Commerce And Industry - ACCI, through its National Chamber Policy Centre, convened key stakeholders to explore how research and innovation can drive industrial transformation and economic growth.

From policymakers and researchers to manufacturers, financial institutions and development partners, participants agreed on one thing: stronger collaboration, better funding, robust intellectual property protection and effective technology transfer are essential to turning Nigerian innovations into globally competitive products.

This conversation is only the beginning. ACCI remains committed to championing policies and partnerships that bridge the gap between research and industry, unlocking opportunities for job creation, investment and sustainable national development.
