From bedridden to back in business!

When spinal TB left 25-year-old businessman Imrana bedridden, a local TB survivor recognized the signs and rushed him to General Hospital Ingawa.

Thanks to timely care, Imrana just hit an incredible milestone: walking unassisted to the hospital and reopening his shop! His story is a powerful reminder that TB is treatable and curable when caught early.

Bringing innovation closer to the community.

Through the Gates Foundation-funded Tools Evaluation Project, KNCV Nigeria is deploying new, child-friendly diagnostic tools to strengthen targeted TB case finding among children, the most vulnerable and often missed group. Leveraging the Wellness on Keke (WoK) mobile outreach model, we are extending access to hard-to-reach communities, bringing screening services closer to those who need them most. This community outreach in Northern Nigeria reflects our commitment to finding TB early and ensuring no child is left behind.

A life gets pulled back from the grip of TB

But he stopped.

Not because he had to, but because he cared.
That one decision led to a diagnosis, treatment, and a second chance at life.
