PAIKON KORE: EDUCATE A KID
Yesterday, 1st July 2026, African Kids and Women Rights Empowerment Initiative (AKAWI) was at LEA Primary School, Paikon Kore, Abuja to place 31 indigent and mostly orphaned children on our scholarships.
In the past we had trained 5 children in this Primary School. Today they've all graduated.
Now we have placed 31 children on AKAWI scholarship by paying their fees ahead of next term.
We intend to return at the start of the school semester in September 2026 to equip them with back to school materials.
Yes, you can be part of this movement if this strikes a chord with you. Look around your locality, and put one out-of-school child back in school.
At AKAWI we believe that every child has a right to education. That's why we do what we do.

She was never meant to choose between purpose and partnership.
For too long, women have been told: Build your career or build your home.
Rise or nurture.
Lead or love.
But what if “giving” was never about disappearing?
What if we could build empires and bedtime stories?
Close deals and still close the day with our families?
This International Women’s Day,
we are not choosing.
We are balancing.
We are building.
We are becoming.
Give. Grow. Gain.
Without losing you.
Happy International Women's Day from all of us at AKAWI.
