Today we celebrate the strength, resilience, and courage of women everywhere.

At Divine Women of Purpose Association (DWOPA), we believe that when women are supported, empowered, and given opportunities, entire communities are transformed.

The theme “Give To Gain” reminds us that every act of kindness, mentorship, and support given to a woman or girl multiplies into hope, dignity, and a brighter future.

Through our work supporting widows, vulnerable women, and the girl child, we remain committed to creating lasting impact and empowering women to rise with purpose.

HELP SAVE A LIFE đź’—

Our dear sister and member of Divine Women of Purpose Association (DWOPA) Mrs Becky Oni a mother of 4 kids is currently battling breast cancer. She urgently needs life-saving surgery and post-medical care, and time is running fast — we have less than 2 weeks to raise the required funds.

As a faith-based organization called to empower women and love the unlovable, we are standing in the gap for her… and we humbly ask that you stand with us.

We are appealing to the general public, well-meaning Nigerians, friends and supporters to help us raise at least ₦1,000,000 to cover her surgery and medical treatment.

✨ DWOPA Stands for Justice for Ochanya ✨

We are deeply heartbroken by the tragic story of Ochanya, a 13-year-old girl whose life was cut short after enduring unimaginable abuse at the hands of those who should have protected her — her uncle and his son 7 years ago.

While one has been brought to face the law, the other remains at large. This is unacceptable. Justice cannot be partial. Every perpetrator must be held accountable.

As an organization that advocates for vulnerable women and the girl child, DWOPA (Divine Women of Purpose Association) lends her voice to the call for justice for Ochanya.

No child should ever suffer in silence.
No girl should ever bear such cruelty.
We demand justice — full justice — for Ochanya and for every girl child who has been abused, silenced, or forgotten.

Let this not be another story that fades away.
Let it ignite a movement for protection, accountability, and justice.

Every Children's day, our dear NGO has held events, community outreaches, orphanage visitations to celebrate with the vulnerable, less privileged kids. Our children in the children's department curate these events and they go sharing love with the less privileged ones. This we have done since time memorial

Now we approach yet another Children's day 🥰 May 27th 2025. Most of our events has been internally funded by members contributions. But with the way things are, we humbly seek the support of kind hearted people to please support our outreach. We have barely 10 days and we are yet to reach half of our target 🥺.

Please help us put smiles on the faces of the children come May 27th.

Today, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and power of women across the world. This year's theme, "Accelerate Action," is a clarion call—one we at Divine Women of Purpose Association (DWOPA) wholeheartedly embrace.

Women are the backbone of families, communities, and societies. Yet, too often, their voices are unheard, their struggles unseen. But no more! It is time to rise, speak out, and take action. To stand for ourselves and for one another. To uplift, empower, and create the change we seek.

At DWOPA, we are committed to supporting widows and vulnerable women, ensuring they find strength in community and purpose in their journey. Today, we encourage every woman to take bold steps—whether in your home, workplace, or society. Advocate for your rights, support a fellow woman, and never underestimate the power of unity.
