I’m truly delighted to share that I’ve been given the opportunity once again to serve as a mentor in the Women in Clean Cooking Mentorship Program, thanks to the incredible support of GWNET: Global Women's Network for the Energy Transition (Global Women’s Network for the Energy Transition), Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) and Clean Cooking Alliance (CCA).

Mentorship has always been close to my heart it’s not just about guiding someone’s career path, but about inspiring confidence, opening doors, and creating networks that empower women to thrive in the renewable energy and clean cooking sectors.

Every conversation with young women in this space reminds me of the immense potential we have to transform the energy landscape. By investing in mentorship, we’re not only building individual careers but also strengthening the collective voice of women driving the clean energy transition.

I’m excited to continue this journey of learning, sharing, and growing together. Here’s to more women stepping into leadership roles, innovating, and shaping a sustainable future!

*WEESI Essay Competition for Girls in STEM Nigeria*

The Women in Energy and Economic Sustainability Initiative (WEESI) 2nd Annual Essay Competition, targeted at Girls in Senior Secondary offering STEM in Nigeria, as we celebrate the *”International Day of The Girl Child”* which aims to inspire Girls in Secondary school offering STEM to learn more about the current and future trends, innovations, and impacts of renewable energy, and how they can contribute to this field as potential students, professionals, or leaders.

*Selection Criteria and Eligibility*
•Must be a Female in Senior Secondary offering STEM subjects •Must submit a passport photograph
*How to Apply*
•Applicants must upload a scanned copy of their original birth certificates or international passport data page.
•Applicants must upload written essay in MS word format (not more than 800 words Min. 1000 words Max)
