The IBROMUSA FOUNDATION is a prominent non-profit organization in Nigeria and Africa, dedicated to advancing the welfare of African children. Founded by Musa Ibrahim Ibro, a renowned Nollywood actor, on August 9, 2002, we specialize in community-led initiatives and partnerships to empower vulnerable children.
Our key programs include:
- Quality education and skills training for children
- Comprehensive healthcare and wellness services
- Sustainable agriculture
and empowerment initiatives for children
- Advocacy for gender equality, child rights, and protection against abuse and trafficking etc
- Community development projects focusing on water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH)
- Campaigns against early child marriage, girl child exploitation, and promoting girl child education
We've impacted over 66,900 disadvantaged children in Nigeria, providing essential support such as meals, mosquito nets, clothing, medical care, and educational resources. Our flagship "Help the Children in Nigeria" program has supported over 50 children in returning to school, while our "Save the Children" initiative has expanded to schools and communities, support primary schools & medical support, and protection services.
With projects in 25 Nigerian states and partnerships with local leaders, governments, and international organizations, we're committed to creating lasting change. Our work is guided by the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 5 (Quality Education), Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being), and Goal 5 (Gender Equality).
