True economic power for women starts with two things: foundational knowledge and the tools to build the future.

For International Women’s Day, we had the incredible honor of joining a powerful panel discussion with SIL Foundation focused on one of the most critical missions of our time: providing women with access to economic power and sustainable livelihoods.
​To tackle a challenge this big, we brought the full scope of our ecosystem to the table:
Israel O. Pender shared valuable perspectives from his oversight of our literacy initiatives, breaking down how foundational education serves as the essential, non-negotiable gateway to financial independence and decision-making.
Uma P Nnenna had the privilege of representing our work in digital skills development, sharing on-the-ground insights about why equipping women with tech, design, and AI capabilities is the ultimate equalizer for unlocking scalable, long-term wealth.
​Bridging the gap between basic literacy and advanced digital fluency isn't just about education, it's about economic survival and community growth. When we give women access to both, they don't just participate in the economy; they shape it.

From classrooms to learning circles in North East Nigeria, RABNI’s Teacher Plug n Play kits are helping children learn in over 40 communities across the North East.

These offline, solar-powered kits put literacy and numeracy directly in the hands of teachers even in places where schools have been shut, power is unreliable, and internet is non-existent.

Every child deserves the chance to read, count, and dream. This is how we’re making it possible.

Yobe State Teachers Training Activity

RABNI has successfully completed the Digital Safety for Young Learners Pilot, reaching over 220 children with essential skills to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.

From understanding personal data and online privacy to recognizing cyberbullying and protecting against harmful content, our learners are now better equipped to thrive in today’s connected world.

This pilot marks a major step in our mission to create safer digital learning environments, especially for children in underserved and hard-to-reach communities.

A huge thank you to our incredible facilitators, community partners, and every young learner who brought energy and curiosity to the sessions. The journey to safer learning spaces has only just begun.

This month marks a truly special milestone for us, RABNI Education Interventions is 10 years old!

From humble beginnings in 2015 to now serving thousands of learners across underserved communities in Nigeria and beyond, our journey has been nothing short of transformative.

Over the last decade, we've worked relentlessly to bridge education gaps using innovative tools, creative programs and community-driven solutions.

Thanks to your support, belief and partnership, we’ve:

- Reached over 10,000 children and youth with literacy, digital skills and life-changing education programs.

- Designed and deployed solutions that thrive in low-resource settings, from plug-and-play tech to hands-on teacher training.

- Built strategic partnerships with organizations, scaling our impact in powerful ways.

- Launched and scaled the iLearn Ecosystem, ensuring access to quality learning is not a privilege, but a right.

This anniversary is not just a celebration, it’s a renewal of our commitment to keep pushing boundaries, reaching the unreached and building an education system where no child is left behind.

As we step into the next decade, we are excited to deepen our impact, innovate further and serve even more learners with dignity, creativity and excellence.
