1. Introduction
As part of the Rotary Club of Abuja Wuse II’s membership drive activities for the month of August 2026, the
Club participated in the Régal Give Back Project, an initiative spearheaded by Rtn. Dr. Ben of the Rotary Club of
Abuja Renaissance, of Regal Dental Clinic International in partnership with RC Abuja Wuse II
The initiative provided Rotary members and prospective members with access to subsidised dental care,
including free registration, consultation and oral health checks, as well as professional tooth cleaning at a 70%
discounted rate of ₦12,000.
The partnership provided an opportunity to promote oral health awareness while also supporting the Club’s
membership development objectives.
2. Participation by Rotary Club of Abuja Wuse II
On August 10, 2026, members and prospective members of the Rotary Club of Abuja Wuse II took advantage
of the special offer.
The beneficiaries from the Club included:
* Rtn. Comfort Ebokpo, one of the Club’s Mayors.
* Rtn. Amina T. Suleiman-PE, one of the Club’s Mayors.
* Rtn. Solomon Chidi Henshaw, one of the Club’s Mayor
* Rtr. Judith, President of the Young Mayors Rotaractor Club.
* Mr. Eugene King, an intending Rotarian who participated as part of the Club’s August membership drive.
Each beneficiary received free registration, consultation and oral examination/check-up, followed by
professional tooth cleaning at the discounted rate of *₦12,000 per person. 3. Financial Value of the Intervention

At the subsidised rate, the three beneficiaries collectively accessed dental services valued at ₦60,000 .
The free registration, consultation and oral checks further enhanced the value of the intervention to the
beneficiaries.
4. Membership Development Dimension
Beyond the health benefits, the initiative contributed directly to the Rotary Club of Abuja Wuse II’s August
Membership Drive.
The participation of Mr. Eugene King, an intending Rotarian, was particularly significant, as it created an
opportunity for a prospective member to experience Rotary fellowship and benefit from a Rotary-linked
community initiative.
The activity demonstrated how practical benefits, fellowship and service opportunities can be combined to
engage prospective members and strengthen their connection with Rotary.
5. Impact
The collaboration achieved several positive outcomes: 1. Promoted oral health awareness among Rotary members and prospective members.
2. Improved access to professional dental care through a significant 70% discount.
3. Strengthened inter-club collaboration between Rotary Club of Abuja Wuse II, Rotary Club of Abuja
Renaissance and Regal Dental Clinic International.
4. Supported membership development by involving an intending Rotarian in a Rotary-related benefit and
service initiative.
5. Encouraged preventive dental care, particularly through professional oral examination and tooth cleaning.
6. Demonstrated the practical impact of Rotary partnerships in addressing everyday health and wellbeing
needs.
6. Appreciation
The Rotary Club of Abuja Wuse II appreciates Rtn. Dr. Ben of Rotary Club of Abuja Renaissance for
spearheading the Régal Give Back Project and facilitating the partnership with Regal Dental Clinic
International.
The Club also appreciates Regal Dental Clinic International for making professional dental care more accessible
through the generous discount and complimentary registration, consultation and oral health checks.
7. Conclusion
The partnership between the Rotary Club of Abuja Wuse II, The Mayors and Regal Dental Clinic International,
through the Régal Give Back Project, was a valuable initiative that combined *health, fellowship and
membership development.
The August 10, 2026 engagement provided four beneficiaries with access to professional dental services at a
highly subsidised rate, with a total financial value of ₦60,000 for the services accessed.
More importantly, the initiative demonstrated the potential of strategic partnerships to create meaningful
benefits for Rotary members while also attracting and engaging prospective members.
The Rotary Club of Abuja Wuse II looks forward to sustaining similar partnerships and initiatives that advance
the Rotary ideals of Service Above Self, while strengthening fellowship, membership and community impact.
