Today, we celebrate 9 years of impact, compassion, and transformation 🎉🎉🎉🎉

For 9 incredible years, YAHAB Humanitarian Initiative has remained committed to spreading love, restoring hope, and touching lives across communities.

What started as a vision has grown into a movement—one that empowers, uplifts, and creates lasting change.

Over the years, our work has evolved with purpose. While we initially focused on four key areas of intervention, a strategic training and planning session in June last year led us to a more intentional direction—placing education at the heart of our impact, as we believe it is a powerful tool for sustainable change.

We are deeply grateful to our partners, volunteers, and supporters who have walked this journey with us. Your support fuels our mission and strengthens our impact.

This is more than an anniversary…
It is a celebration of lives touched, dreams restored, and a future filled with even greater possibilities.

The journey continues. The impact grows.

Happy 9th Anniversary to us!

Happy New Month! 🌸✨

Welcome to April—a new month, a fresh opportunity to make meaningful impact where it matters most. At YAHAB Humanitarian Initiative, we remain committed to advancing access to quality education for every child, especially those who are still out of school.

Education is not just a right—it is the foundation for national development, empowerment, and a better future. This month, we continue to push for solutions, raise our voices, and take action that ensures no child is left behind.

Let April be a month of intentional impact, collaboration, and renewed commitment to transforming lives through education. 💜

Today we celebrate the strength, resilience, and achievements of women everywhere. 🌸

At YAHAB Humanitarian Initiative, we believe that empowering women transforms families, communities, and nations. When women are supported, everyone rises.

This year’s theme “Give to Gain” reminds us that investing in women and girls today creates a stronger future for all.

Happy International Women’s Day to every woman making a difference. 💜

According to recent reports from UNICEF, about 18–18.5 million children in Nigeria are currently out of school.

This is not just a statistic.

It represents:
• 18 million futures delayed
• 18 million potentials untapped
• 18 million voices that deserve classrooms, not uncertainty

At YAHAB Humanitarian Initiative, we believe education is not a privilege — it is a fundamental right.

This is why we advocate for safe schools.
This is why we support vulnerable children.
This is why we continue to speak, act, and partner for change.

Because access without safety is incomplete.
Enrollment without quality is not enough.
And presence without opportunity is injustice.

The work is urgent.
The responsibility is collective.

👉 Join us. Partner with us. Support a child. Advocate with us.
Together, we can move children from the streets into safe classrooms where they belong.

🚨 Call for Urgent Action 🚨

This is the current condition of Lea Primary School, Kwali. No child should have to learn under a damaged roof or in unsafe surroundings. Education must be safe, dignified, and protected.

Through the YAHAB Humanitarian Initiative Safe School Project, we are committed to restoring safe and conducive learning environments — but we cannot do it alone.

We call on government stakeholders, corporate partners, development agencies, and compassionate individuals to join us in rebuilding and rehabilitating this school.

Together, we can protect our children and secure their future.

Monday Throwback ✨

A beautiful reminder of when YAHAB Humanitarian Initiative carried out an education outreach at the FCT School for the Blind.

That day wasn’t just about support — it was about dignity, inclusion, and reminding every child that their dreams are valid and possible.

Education is not a privilege for a few; it is a right for all — including children living with visual impairment.

As we step into this new week, may we remember that impact is not measured by noise, but by lives touched.

A little girl walked into this classroom.

She carried her books tightly to her chest.
She had dreams bigger than this building.
But above her head… was a roof that could not fully protect her.

When it rains, water finds its way in.
When the wind blows, fear follows.
Yet, she still shows up — ready to learn.

This is part of what we found at LEA Primary School, Kwali, Abuja.

And this is why the Safe School Project is not just a project to us at YAHAB Humanitarian Initiative — it is a promise.

A promise that no child should have to choose between education and safety.
A promise that learning spaces must protect dreams, not threaten them.

We are rebuilding more than a roof.
We are restoring confidence, dignity, and hope.

And we will not stop.

But we cannot do this alone.

Partner with us.
Support the Safe School Project.
Be the reason a child learns under a safe roof tomorrow.

Together, we can protect their future.
