The new Tinubu tax laws CANNOT take effect until certain orders are established.

I will NOT fund the lifestyle of politicians and their cronies, with 25% of my hard earned money.

Nigeria, as it currently currently stands, has every public servant who has held political power on an obnoxious lifetime gratuity.

We are paying to maintain cars, houses and healthcare for former public office holders, when the people have NOTHING.

President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has no justification for the enormous taxation of the people, in a country where;

Citizens pay for their own security and still have to negotiate ransoms with kidnappers.

Citizens pay for their own electricity.

There is no viable public transportation system in the country. Nigerians still pay heavily to move their goods and services.

The roads are bad and unsafe!

Nigerian public schools and hospitals are mostly dilapidated.

President Tinubu has to point Nigerians to what he has done with the monies from fuel subsidy removal.

Where are the new rail lines??? Where are the new hospitals??? Where are the new roads???

Who are the students who have benefited from the students loans??? Festus Ogun had written to the government to make public the names of the students who were said to be beneficiaries of the students loans scheme, and the government declined that request.

Tinubu is NOT an autonomy. He is a man who is occupying an office in TRUST; therefore he must be ready to submit to scrutiny at ALL times.

The government cannot plan to tax the very people it thinks itself too big to answer to.

There will be problems.

Every democratic government is subject to the PEOPLE.

As they say, “he who pays the piper, dictates the tunes”. The President MUST know, that citizens who pay taxes are his bosses. They should be able to dictate how their monies are spent.

The era when people sit in the National Assembly to pass frivolous bills and discuss inanities is OVER!

As a tax payer, I do NOT want my money to be used to fund religious pilgrimages.

The heavy financial emoluments to public servants is unacceptable to me.

I have a problem with a system that rewards a barely literate Senator or Federal minister, than a school’s professor who has invested decades in education.

I have a problem with a society that rewards militants and bandits with statuses higher than the Police and Military personnel.

In summary, the corruption under President Tinubu stinks so much to allow for the effective use of proceeds from new tax system to be properly utilized.

Certainly, not under a government who has the National Assembly in his pocket…

The government has shown that it cannot be trusted with more “sacrificial monies”.

The president must show workings with what he has been given already.

A system that allows politicians to live richer than its citizens is NOT acceptable to me.

You have usurped the natural resources of the land and shared it amongst your cronies, without accountability; now you want to tax the citizens who have chosen to stay back in the country to do business, INSPITE of all the challenges that you (government) have refused to deal with.

The planned taxation system must be suspended immediately.

The government cannot tax Nigerians when it hasn’t given ANYTHING in return.

It is unacceptable.

Kaiso.

PS: in January 2012, President Goodluck Jonathan announced a fuel subsidy removal that threw the country into a protest that disrupted economic activities. That protest was led by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
