At Annson Delph Foundation, we believe that supporting vulnerable women is not only about providing immediate relief. It is also about creating opportunities for dignity, independence and sustainable livelihoods.

Widowhood can bring enormous emotional and economic challenges. For many women, the responsibility of caring for their families does not stop when their circumstances change.

That is why we believe in supporting widows in ways that can help them build resilience and improve their livelihoods.

Through our work, 38 widows in Nasarawa State have benefited from our support, with livelihoods including agricultural activities.

Every woman deserves an opportunity to rebuild.

Every family deserves hope.

And every act of support can become the beginning of something greater.

We remain committed to standing with vulnerable women and communities—not simply to offer help today, but to contribute towards a future where people can become more self-reliant, empowered and hopeful.

HER DREAMS MATTER. HER VOICE MATTERS. HER FUTURE MATTERS.

Today, we celebrate every girl child—the dreamer, the learner, the innovator, the future leader and the woman she is becoming. ❤️

At Annson Delph Foundation, we believe that every girl deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, feel safe, discover her potential and pursue her dreams without discrimination or limitations.

A girl who receives an education gains more than knowledge; she gains opportunities, confidence and the ability to make informed choices about her future.

A girl whose voice is heard learns that her opinions matter.

A girl who is protected, encouraged and empowered has a greater opportunity to contribute meaningfully to her family, community and nation.

Yet, many girls still face barriers to education, poverty, gender-based discrimination, inadequate healthcare and limited opportunities.

We must do more than celebrate our girls. We must invest in them, protect them, educate them and create opportunities for them to thrive.

At Annson Delph Foundation, our commitment to education, community support and human development reflects our belief that investing in children today is essential to building a better tomorrow.

🎓 EVERY CHILD DESERVES A CHANCE TO LEARN

At Annson Delph Foundation, we believe education is more than a classroom. It is an investment in a child's future, a family's wellbeing and the development of our communities.

Sometimes, the difference between a child staying in school and falling behind is something as simple as an examination fee, school-related support or someone willing to say:

“Your education matters. We believe in you.” ❤️

Through our education support initiatives, we have reached 260+ pupils, helping to remove some of the financial barriers that can stand between children and their education.

In July 2026 alone, 85 pupils received support with examination fees, helping them participate in their examinations without that financial burden.

We are grateful for every opportunity to contribute to the educational journey of a child.

Because when we invest in children today, we invest in the human capital of tomorrow.

🌍 ANNSON DELPH FOUNDATION AT THE NATIONAL CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANISATIONS SUMMIT 2026

Yesterday, Annson Delph Foundation was duly represented at the National Civil Society Organisations Summit in Abuja, held under the theme:

“Nigeria First: Our Future, Our Choice.”

It was more than a gathering. It was an opportunity to listen, learn and reflect on the role that civil society can play in building a stronger, more inclusive and sustainable Nigeria.

The conversations around food security, poverty reduction, human capital development, women and youth empowerment, health, education, governance, sustainable policies and development were particularly meaningful.

These are not abstract issues to us at Annson Delph Foundation. They are connected to the realities of the people and communities we serve.

A widow empowered to rebuild her livelihood is part of the conversation on poverty reduction.

A child supported to remain in school is an investment in human capital.

A family with access to food, healthcare and basic support is a step closer to living with dignity.

And policies that are thoughtfully designed, sustainable and responsive to the realities of ordinary people can create an environment where communities have a greater opportunity to thrive.

I was particularly inspired by Ambassador Zainab Mohammed, whose contribution and work around rural women resonated strongly with me.

The summit also reinforced an important lesson: sustainable development requires collaboration. Government, civil society, communities, the private sector and other stakeholders all have important roles to play.

For Annson Delph Foundation, participation in conversations like this is an opportunity to listen, learn, build meaningful partnerships and better understand how our work can contribute to lasting community impact.

We may not be able to do everything, but we can do our part.
