*TRIBUTE TO THE AGWAM BAJJU I, HRH Malam Nuhu Bature _(OON)_ .*
The End of An Era has come, an Era characterized with a lot of intrigues, suspense and doggedness, during which some of our fathers were incarcerated and maltreated in their quest for a Leader.
The calling of our revered Royal Father, The Agwam Bajju I to the World Beyond came at a time he is needed most in strengthening the fragile Unity in Kajju, caused as a result of politics. Love or hate him, Agwam Bajju has done his best, the baton is now relayed to us to continue the race.
He was truly a colossus and fountain of wisdom that the entire Bajju people drew their inspiration and strength. An encounter with him would attest this fact that he was indeed a reservoir and embodiment of wisdom. Certainly, it wasn't a mere coincidence that the entire Bajju communities enjoy relative peace compares to other communities in Southern Kaduna.
Moments with Agwam always arouse total sense of nostalgia and remind one of the likes of Rev Bangoji Bido, Baba Kure Sakwak, Malam Saidu Kamuru and several others, who were also wisdom personified and fought for the emancipation of Bajju. A plethora of these Bajju resourceful giants are still alive, it's incumbent on us to quickly tap from their wealth of wisdom and knowledge before they also take a bow to join The Agwam Bajju I and other Bajju shining stars that have gone before us.
