This strategic decision once again underscores the unwavering commitment of the Kogi State Government to strengthen its educational institutions through merit, capacity, and visionary leadership. GOVERNOR ODODO'S UNPRECEDENTED COMMITMENT TO WORKERS' WELFARE IS HISTORICALLY LAUDABLE- ENGR OHIEKU.

Governor Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman is making waves in Kogi State with his commitment to workers' welfare. Engr Ohieku Muhammad Abdulsalam, Chairman of the Governing Council, Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo, has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the governor for his unprecedented efforts in improving citizens' well-being.

Ohieku heaped praise on the governor's approval of the civil servants' minimum wage and tax relief for 12 months, describing the development as a significant milestone, marking a first in the state's history. Ohieku emphasized that the move is expected to positively impact workers' welfare and leave a lasting legacy.

ENGR OHIEKU REJOICES WITH PROF. TENUCHE ON THE OCCASION OF HER BIRTHDAY.

Engr Ohieku Muhammad Abdulsalam, Chairman of the governing Council at Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo, Benue State, is celebrating Professor Marietu Tenuche's birthday in style! The Professional Engineer has joined other dignitaries and education experts to honor Prof. Tenuche, the trailblazing first female Vice Chancellor of Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba in Kogi State.

Ohieku emphasized that Prof. Tenuche's impressive contributions to political science have left a lasting impact on education. He praised her unwavering commitment and dedication to education globally, making Kogi State proud . Ohieku asserted that since becoming Vice Chancellor of the State University, Prof. Tenuche has excelled in developing the institution, earning national recognition, cited reasons for the renewal of her appointment.

Ohieku described Prof. Tenuche as an extraordinary educator with remarkable achievements in education whose wealth of fulfilling experience has brought progress and honor to the State's institution

EID EL MAULUD CELEBRATION: ENGR OHIEKU PREACHED PEACE AND URGED KOGITES TO EMBRACE SPIRIT OF TOGETHERNESS.

In the spirit of Eid El Maulud, Engr Ohieku Muhammad Abdulsalam, Chairman of the Governing Council, Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo, congratulated all Muslims and urged them to embrace the values of peace, love, forgiveness togetherness, humility, and service to humanity as exemplified in the teachings and messages of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ( May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him). Ohieku emphasized this is also a season in which all Muslims are encouraged to pray fervently for the growth and progress of their land, reiterated it is the key to nation building and development.

Ohieku specifically praised the leadership of Governor Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman in Kogi State, highlighting his inclusive and visionary approach to improving citizens' well-being and transforming the state's narrative. He assured all Kogites of continued state's progress under governor Ododo's purposeful leadership, implored them to support the government's efforts to improve the state's interest and secure a brighter future for generation to come.

CUSTECH APPROVED COURSES: ENGR OHIEKU HAILS STATE'S DEVELOPMENTS AND COMMENDS GOVERNMENT'S EFFORTS.

Engr Ohieku Muhammad Abdulsalam, Chairman of the Governing Council, Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo, and leader of the Ododo Mandate Steering Committee, has commended the transformative administration of Kogi State Governor, His Excellency Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman, for the recent approval of MBBS and other medical courses at the Confluence University of Technology, ( CUSTECH ), Osara.

Ohieku praised the governor's unwavering commitment to repositioning the state's educational institutions, building on the achievements of his predecessor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello. He noted that the administration is determined to change the state's narratives for the better in all areas of national development.

With the approved courses, Ohieku stated that CUSTECH is now on par with other first-class institutions in the country, thanks to the governor's dedication to academic excellence. He congratulated the governor, university governing Councils, students, and the people of Kogi State on this achievements, urging continued support for the governor's vision.
