Alimosho tops the charts with 1,953,500 residents—over 41× more than Bakassi’s 48,200. Ado‑Odo/Ota ranks 10th most populous (896,700), while Esit Eket is 10th least (80,900).
Borgu covers 10,992 km²—2,177× larger than Lagos Island’s 5.05 km². Mariga is 10th largest (6,279 km²) and Ibadan South East is 10th smallest (15.14 km²).

Ajeromi‑Ifelodun’s density is 81,465/km²—5,819× higher than Toungo’s 14/km². Ibadan North East (23,756/km²) and Abadam (37/km²) sit at 10th in their groups.

A few days ago, the U.S. government announced a 90-day suspension of tariffs for several countries, excluding China. This chart showcases the top 30 countries that previously faced the highest U.S. tariffs. Notably, eight of these countries are in Africa. Although Nigeria was not among the top 30, it ranked 54th with a tariff rate of 14%. Among the 20 African countries most affected by tariffs, 11 are from Southern Africa, 4 each from West and North Africa, and 1 from Central Africa.
Before the pause on the tariff these are the top 20 African countries facing the highest new tariffs imposed by the U.S. government. Nigeria ranks 16th on the continent with a tariff rate of 14%. Among the 20 countries, 11 are from Southern Africa, 4 each from West and North Africa, and 1 from Central Africa.

The chart above reveals the 30 countries facing the highest new tariffs from the U.S. government. Interestingly, eight African nations made the list, reflecting growing trade tensions and global supply chain shifts.
Nigeria ranks 54th, with a current U.S. tariff rate of 14%.
While not in the top tier, the implication for trade relations, export competitiveness, and future negotiations is worth tracking closely.
