As of 12:30 am on the 16th of August, KDI’s Ballot Integrity Project (BIP) is tracking results uploaded to IReV across Osun State.

These figures reflect only results uploaded and captured on IReV at the stated time and are not the final official results.

Kimpact Development Initiative (KDI) will continue tracking and analysing the results as more polling-unit results are uploaded, while awaiting INEC’s official declaration.

As of 10:30 pm on the 15th of August, KDI’s Ballot Integrity Project (BIP) is tracking results uploaded to IReV across Osun State. So far, results have been completely received from 15 LGAs, with some PUs pending in 10 LGAs.

These figures reflect only results uploaded and captured on IReV so far and are not the final official results

Kimpact Development Initiative (KDI) will continue tracking the process as more results are uploaded, while awaiting INEC’s official declaration.

Kimpact Development Initiative (KDI), has released its Preliminary Statement on the Conduct of the 2026 Osun State Governorship Election, based on reports received and processed through the Election Day Data Room (EDDR).

The statement provides an early assessment, highlighting both emerging concerns and areas where the process has progressed positively.

This is an early snapshot, not a final assessment. Our observers will continue monitoring through the close of polls, counting and collation.

Across Osun State, our observers are on the ground, watching the process unfold.

From the voters arriving at polling units to the conduct of election officials, security presence, accreditation, voting, and other developments, our roving observers are monitoring the process across the state, documenting what they see and reporting from the field in real time.

These observations provide an independent, evidence-based account of Election Day as it happens, helping to identify emerging concerns, document incidents, and contribute to a clearer picture of how the election is being conducted across communities and polling units.

As voting continues, our observers remain on the ground, ensuring that what happens across Osun is observed, documented, and accounted for.

At 12 PM today, Kimpact Development Initiative (KDI) will host an Election Mid-Day Press Briefing to share verified findings from our accredited election observation across the state. The briefing will provide an early assessment of how the process is unfolding, including key developments, emerging concerns, and observations recorded by our teams on the ground.

With our observers monitoring polling units and our Election Day Data Room receiving and verifying field reports in real time, the briefing will provide evidence-based updates on the conduct of the election and what we are seeing across Osun.
