I'm thrilled to share that FIST Africa recently embarked on a meaningful journey towards enhancing primary education in Nigeria. Our team had the honour of visiting the office of Dr. Yetunde Adeniji, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on School Feeding, to explore collaboration opportunities aimed at addressing key challenges in our educational system.

During our courtesy visit, we engaged in insightful discussions on the critical role of child education and the significance of initiatives like the school feeding program in promoting attendance and academic performance, and economic empowerment that is tied to the entire value chain. It was truly inspiring to witness the dedication and commitment of Dr. Adeniji and her team to uplift the educational landscape of our nation.

At FIST Africa, we recognize that education is the cornerstone of development, and we are passionate about contributing to its advancement in every possible way. By partnering with the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on School Feeding, we aim to combine our expertise and resources to tackle pressing issues affecting primary education in Nigeria.

Through collaborative efforts and innovative solutions, we are determined to create a brighter future for our children, where access to quality education is a reality for all. Together, we can build a nation where every child has the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential.

Thank you Tech Herfrica for the work you do and we value our partnership.

The ScaleHer programme, a dynamic collaboration between Tech Herfrica and aims to empower young girls and women in underserved communities by facilitating the expansion of their business ideas and acquired skills, through the integration of digital technology and financial inclusion. It seeks to equip beneficiaries, with the digital and financial literacy, digital tools and devices, acess to start-up grants and other resources needed to build sustainable businesses.

Yesterday marked the exciting kickoff in Kabusa Community, where we engaged with 10 talented young girls, each possessing diverse vocational skills. We delved into enlightening sessions on the digital economy and e-commerce, stressed the importance of proper bookkeeping and accessing financial services, guided them on turning their skills into successful businesses - emphasizing on leveraging the digital world, and taught them on how to stay safe online.

A heartfelt thank you to our valued partners, for joining forces with us in this collaborative effort to empower and uplift these young girls.
