🌏 is not a poor country 🌏

People shouldn't believe everything they hear about other countries till they verify themselves.

Before i traveled to early this year, i heard people talk about Cambodia being very poor , their citizens living in abject poverty but...it's not true...and all kinds of negative stories.

When i got to Cambodia in February this year for my NGO service, it was totally different from all the negative stuff i heard.

In cambodia, you get 24/7 wifi service including in their local markets. I had the best internet experience everywhere i went.

Their transport system is well organized with their Grab, Passapp transport systems.

Everyone uses the registered transport system which makes movements easy and organized.

I love their food too. The food the average cambodian eats is far from what poor people eat. They eat varieties of healthy foods which balances their diet.

In their capital city Phnom Penh where i stayed, the city is well organized with beautiful high rise buildings. Their hotels and hostels are very clean and pretty much affordable.

So those who came up with the story that Cambodia is a poor country should try to balance their story.

Yes, they still have pockets of poverty in their rural communities just like Africa but to classify Cambodia as a very poor country is wrong from what i observed. They are also very nice and friendly.

Am looking foward to visiting once more !!
