A generous sister donated ₦200,000 to support families in need with essential food supplies.
Alhamdulillah, we were able to distribute food items worth ₦50,000 each to four families across Oyo, Osun, Gombe, and Ogun States.
1. A family man living in Papa-Eleye Zone 1, Olomi, Ibadan, Oyo State, who is married with four children. He previously worked as a mechanic but sadly lost his sight a few years ago, leaving him unable to continue working. As a result, his wife has taken on the responsibility of providing for the family. She sells nylon on a small scale, and this modest income is what the family depends on for their daily needs. The items were received by his wife.
2. A widow with five children residing in Oke Eleye, Iree, Osun State. Her husband passed away a few months ago, leaving her solely responsible for the care and upkeep of the family. She was unemployed before his death and remains without a job. Currently observing her Iddah, she relies on support and charity from her late husband’s family and others to provide food for herself and her children.
3. A widow with two children living in Arawa area of Gombe State. Since the passing of her husband, she has been solely responsible for the family, including caring for her elderly mother. Her only source of income is the small-scale sale of condiments, which brings in very little profit and serves as the family’s means of survival.
4. A single mother living on Alade Street, Shomorin, Abeokuta, caring for her three children. She resides in a rented apartment, and due to her difficult financial situation, the landlord has temporarily waived her rent. She is currently employed as a domestic worker in a private school, but her earnings are only enough to barely cover basic feeding, leaving little to nothing for other essential expenses.
May Allah accept it as an act of ibadah.
