Electoral College Nigeria congratulates our civic partners and, most importantly, the people of Osun State on the successful conduct of the election.

We are proud to witness the triumph of the will of the people over every attempt to undermine the democratic process.

This election is a reminder that democracy ultimately belongs to the people. Their voices, choices and votes must remain sovereign.

We commend all citizens who participated peacefully and responsibly, as well as our civic partners who contributed to strengthening democratic participation and voter awareness across the state.

The work, however, does not end with the declaration of results. Democracy requires continued vigilance, accountability and active citizenship.

Young people are not merely the leaders of tomorrow. We are citizens, voters, innovators, community builders and political stakeholders today.

At Electoral College Nigeria, we believe youth participation must go beyond hashtags and election-day voting. It must include understanding power, questioning leadership, demanding accountability and actively shaping the systems that govern our lives.

A politically literate youth is harder to manipulate, harder to silence and better equipped to lead.

This International Youth Day, let us move from youth inclusion as a slogan to youth participation as a standard.

The future of Nigeria is not waiting for us. It is being decided now.
