Society is increasingly becoming unsafe. Virtually all segments of society have become prone to the pervasive influence of violence,especially campus violence. this came in different terms. But the umbrella name of groups that unleash terror in academic communities accross Nigeria is called Secret cults. They are secret to the extent of their subterranean nature which manifest by their secret memb

ership, rituals and violent methods. The result include amongst others; Extortion, Blackmail,Rape,Arson,Robbery,Drug Abuse/Trafficking, Kidnapping, Hijacking,Maiming & Murder.e.t.c.. Available data shows that Cult wars are responsible for Seven in every Ten deaths recorded in Nigerian campuses. Such wars which are usually waged to established supremacy between rival groups usually result in wanton destructions in both the campuses and society at large..
