I was born into a catholic family... A young man confessed!
Born into a catholic family. My father and mother were dedicated catholic members My father and mother are members of CMO and CWO. My parents were members of the holy family. They were also members of Saint Anthony. My father is also a member of the latty council. We are tied to catholic doctrines, principles, norms and upbringings.
I had my infant baptism at ibadan. My baptism name is Mathias. Whilst growing up, the catholic passion in me grew rapidly. I enrolled in a cathecima class at Saint sabastine catholic church Rukuba Barack Jos.Afterwhich I had my sacrament of the holy eucharest(holy communion). Conducted by col. Rev. Fr. Nginika.
I later enrolled for confirmation. This time I have became a mass server and leading several blocks rosary classes. My confirmation was so fascinating to me because it was conducted by Archbishop GG Ganaka, the archbishop of Jos diocese. My confirmation name is Emmanuel.
My love for catholic grew to a point where the only thing I needed in my entire life was to become a Rev. Father.
My father though a constant disciplinarian was always making sure we stay within the perimeters of the catholic principles.
I could conduct a mass because I know virtually all it entails. My retentive memory made it easy for me to recite all the prayers in catholic-the catina, the Angelus, the act of contrition and even the cathecism book. I can recite from "who made you?" to the end without jumping one.
I was high and burning with passion and happiness. My parents were happy and proud with my performance.
Then came the turning point...
I got admission after writing common entrance from primary five to government college makurdi.
My father was happy for me so he insisted I should go to bordering school.
He bought all that I needed and all a good father could buy for his son.
