“A lot of people don’t even know where to report when their digital rights are violated.”Participants
In , young people, media practitioners, and civil society actors shared how misinformation, harassment, data misuse, and even intimidation shape how they show up online, often leading to silence or self-censorship.
Through our Data and Digital Rights Training, 47 participants strengthened their understanding of digital rights, fact-checking, and data protection, while gaining practical knowledge of reporting tools like and available redress pathways.
By the end of the sessions, participants moved from uncertainty to action with a shared commitment to report violations, verify information, and engage more responsibly online.
Strengthening awareness and accessible reporting pathways is key to making digital spaces safer, inclusive, and accountable for all.
