Yesterday, a devastating fire ravaged the home of Mr. Bartholomew Waziri, our dear neighbor in Dakibiyu, Jabi, Abuja, Nigeria, leaving him and his family with nothing. The blaze, which spread rapidly, destroyed not only their belongings but also cherished memories.

Miraculously, the children were not at home, but Mr. Waziri's world was shattered when he returned from work to find his house reduced to ashes. The trauma and grief are palpable, and our community is rallying around them in this darkest hour.

The theme for this year, "Take the Right Path," calls on each of us to make informed, compassionate, and responsible choices that contribute to the global efforts of preventing the spread of HIV and supporting those living with it.
