REAN Applauds Launch of National Guidelines for Solar Mini-Grid Interconnection

REAN was honored to participate in the official launch of the National Guidelines for Interconnecting Solar Mini-Grids to Distribution Networks, hosted by NEMSA in Abuja. This important milestone represents a major step toward strengthening Nigeria's clean energy ecosystem and ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient integration of solar mini-grids into the country's electricity network.

In its goodwill message, REAN commended NEMSA and its development partners for their continued efforts to strengthen standards, improve quality assurance, and advance regulatory compliance within Nigeria's renewable energy sector.

A major highlight of the event was the presentation of advanced solar testing equipment to NEMSA. This gear will significantly enhance the agency’s ability to inspect, certify, and enforce quality control across nationwide renewable energy installations.

REAN remains deeply committed to collaborating on initiatives that drive energy access, strict quality standards, and a sustainable energy transition for Nigeria.
