WHAT IS REBATS FOUNDATION FOR EDUCATION OF THE LESS PRIVILEGE? It’s a Foundation with the sole aim of assisting those whose parents cannot afford to educate them due to their poor background. A Foundation that seek to be a father, educationally, to the fatherless. These could be orphans or widows children. A Foundation which seeks to cater for those children whose parents could not afford to educa
te them due to their commitment to the service of God especially in the rural areas. A Foundation committed to ensure that the talents and gifting embedded in the underprivileged that would have been lost is averted. A Foundation that seeks to save families from the frustration and hopelessness of their inability to educate their children. HOW DO WE DO THAT? Children in the above categories, who are completely out of school are identified and enrolled back to school. The Foundation takes care of virtually everything about their education. This embraces admission cost, school fees, uniforms, books etc. There are some who although are in school, yet are defaulting in fees payment, lacks uniforms and books which the Foundation takes over their sponsorship. Another category is those who could not register their final examination (WAEC/NECO/UTME) due to the additional cost these bring to their sponsors. Any other way the Foundation may discover is necessary to cater for in the life of the underprivileged. FINANCING OF THE FOUNDATION
The Foundation depends majorly on contributions and donations from spirited individuals, bodies and organisations. The Foundation also seeks to carry out contracts in order to generate income for its activities. Most of this is done by creating awareness about its activities and educational challenges of the underprivileged child. AREAS OF INVOLVEMENT BY THE PUBLIC
These include but are not limited to the following:
i. Monthly contributions to the Foundation for the purpose of caring for the educational needs of those children
ii. Adopting a child or children for sponsorship, whose total cost of education; school fees, uniforms, books etc is borne by the donor. By periodic or one time donations of any amount to the Foundation for education of the underprivileged child
iv. By donation of educational materials such as books, stationeries, foot wears and any other materials that may be of relevance. By sensitizing others which could be individuals, bodies or organisations about the challenges of the underprivileged child and the inherent talents that needed to be tapped out of those lives. By your useful inputs that will enhance the development of the Foundation in other for it to achieve its objectives.
