Manifesto: My Vision for Kyan Constituency — Arise and Shine, 2027
Fellow People of Kyan Constituency,
I am Hon. Adamu Terseer Tyungu. I come before you as your brother, neighbor, and dedicated servant, seeking your mandate to represent Kyan Constituency in the Benue State House of Assembly under the African Democratic Congress, ADC, in 2027.
My commitment to this constituency is not new. In 2023, I contested on the platform of APGA and earned your overwhelming confidence. Despite the unprecedented wave in support of our Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, we came remarkably close.
That journey did not end at the ballot. It deepened my conviction and refined my understanding of the work required to move Kyan forward.
Record of Service Without Office
Leadership is not defined by title. It is measured by impact. While waiting for the formal platform, I have remained on the ground with you, delivering tangible interventions:
Infrastructure and Security:
Facilitated the installation of solar street lights across six council wards to improve night-time safety, support local commerce, and restore confidence in our public spaces.
Youth Development:
Through the KYAN Empowerment Foundation, we have provided educational support, vocational skills training, and job linkages to equip our young people for a productive future.
Humanitarian Intervention: Responded directly to families in distress with relief support, because governance must have a human face.
Civic Voice and Visibility:
Established Photo News Magazine as a platform to amplify the stories, needs, and achievements of Kyan people, ensuring we are seen and heard beyond our borders.
The Arise and Shine Agenda for 2027
Our constituency possesses the human and natural resources to thrive. What we require is purposeful representation anchored on clear priorities, measurable results, and open accountability. My legislative and constituency agenda rests on five pillars:
1. Education and Human Capital
Expand scholarship schemes and bursary support for indigent students. Partner with technical institutions to establish a vocational training center in Kyan for ICT, agriculture, welding, fashion,
