Flashback to World Environment Day – June 5 🌱

As part of our annual tree-planting initiative, Women for Children Inc. USA had the privilege of carrying out our fruit tree planting project at POWA International Children’s School, Area 11, Abuja.

Every year, we plant trees to promote a greener, healthier future, and this year we were delighted to share this impactful experience with the pupils of POWA International Children’s School. Together, we’re nurturing not just trees, but hope, environmental responsibility, and a better tomorrow for generations to come.

Looking back on one of the moments that reminds us why we do what we do. ❤️

At IWD – Women for Children Inc. USA, we had the privilege of supporting students with back-to-school essentials, including school bags, notebooks, storybooks, pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, and other learning materials.

Every item shared was more than just a school supply—it was an investment in a child’s education, confidence, and future.

We remain committed to giving vulnerable children the support they need to learn, grow, and succeed. Together, we are creating brighter futures, one child at a time.

Today, on Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026, IWD-WomenforChildren Inc. USA in collaboration with Future Seeds Foundation proudly reached out to students in schools to promote menstrual hygiene awareness and support the girl child. 🌸
As part of this impactful outreach, we donated sanitary pads, paper towels, pant liners, and tissues to students to encourage proper menstrual hygiene and help girls manage their periods with confidence and dignity.
Menstruation should never be a barrier to education, self-esteem, or success. Every girl deserves access to menstrual care products, accurate information, and a supportive environment where she feels safe and empowered.
Together, we continue to break the stigma, spread awareness, and invest in the future of young girls in our communities.
Happy Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026! 💜
