207 people. 1,012 interventions.
Real people. Real impact.

This World Malaria Day, we didn’t just raise awareness, we showed up with care, treatment, and hope, in collaboration with JCI Abuja Unity.

Aligned with SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), this intervention is a reminder that real progress happens when we act together.

We are deeply grateful to our volunteers, dedicated medical personnel, the incredible members of JCI Abuja Unity, and the entire SEF team; your commitment is the reason lives are being touched and changed.

If we can reach 207 in one day, imagine what is possible when more of us step in. This is more than an outreach… it’s a reminder that when we show up consistently, we save lives quietly, powerfully, and every single time.
And we will keep showing up.

Eight days later, and Warmth to Durumi 2.0 still sits deeply with us. 💚

What happened in Durumi felt like a return to something many communities are slowly losing — the belief that we are responsible for one another.

There was a time when society believed that every child belonged to the community. People looked out for one another naturally. Vulnerability was not ignored. Care was shared.

That spirit came alive again in Durumi.

Beyond the health checks, counselling sessions, dignity kits, and clothing support, we encountered real people with real stories — families trying to stay strong, young people needing guidance, and households simply hoping someone would care enough to show up.

And people did show up.

Volunteers. Health workers. Community leaders. Donors. Partners.
Everyday Nigerians who chose compassion.

Together, we were able to provide support, restore dignity, and remind vulnerable residents that they are not forgotten.

But this is only the beginning.

Warmth to Durumi was never meant to end with one visit. Through our Support A Child Initiative, HTYF is preparing for more structured follow-up and long-term household support because true impact happens when care is consistent.

Thank you to everyone who contributed clothing, resources, time, energy, and love. You helped make community feel like community again. 💚

We still welcome:

Phase 2 is tomorrow April 29, 2026

What began as a clothing drive is now deeper. Phase 1 showed us many vulnerable households here in our area are still missed by current programs. So we’re acting.

Phase 2 adds HIV testing, nutrition & GBV screening to identify real needs — because impact needs continuity, not one-offs.

Phase 3 will be implementation of the Care Plan to follow up and support households long-term.

This is why we need you.

We - Heal The Youth Foundation (Suite AD2) collect clothes, cash, in-kind donations, and volunteers to enhance quality of life for the vulnerable around us (our Durumi community).

While the outcome was not in our favour, our commitment to a stronger, more cohesive CS-SUNN remains unwavering.

We extend our sincere congratulations to the newly elected leadership of the SUN-CSA in Nigeria.

We remain deeply grateful for the opportunity to engage in this process and for the confidence, support, and encouragement received from colleagues across the alliance and beyond.

The work continues.

Six Decades of Purposeful Leadership.

On this special occasion, we wish to celebrate your journey with Heal The Youth Foundation. A journey filled with steady guidance, integrity, and quiet but powerful leadership.

Since assuming the role of Chairman of the Board of Trustees, your leadership has provided clarity, stability, and a deep sense of accountability—ensuring that the vision of the Foundation continues to grow with purpose and excellence.

At 60, we celebrate not just your years, but the legacy of service, wisdom, and discipline you continue to build. Thank you for standing with us, for believing in the mission, and for leading with such distinction.

We pray that God grants you continued wisdom, strength, and good health to lead with even greater impact.

Happy Birthday, Sir.

As we convene for the upcoming election of our alliance - Civil Society-Scaling Up Nutrition in Nigeria, Heal The Youth Foundation would like to respectfully encourage you to consider the candidacy of Amb. Aji Rachael Robinson (FIMC).

During the 2023–2026 tenure, her leadership has delivered practical results:

(1) Co-developed and strengthened key governance tools (financial, procurement, and resource mobilization frameworks) now guiding Secretariat operations.

(2) Led resolution of the Kaduna State chapter crisis, restoring functionality and cohesion.

(3) Ensured leadership continuity in Nasarawa through a structured by-election process.

(4) Established a Peer-to-Peer mentoring system now supporting state chapters (Niger, Benue, Plateau, FCT).

(5) Provided structured handover systems (notably in FCT), ensuring continuity of engagement with State Nutrition Committees and Technical Working Groups.

At this stage, CS-SUNN requires leadership that can sustain systems, stabilize structures, and scale impact within the Scaling Up Nutrition Movement.

If your priority is continuity with proven results, we encourage you to support by voting her candidacy for Co-chairman tomorrow, April 22, 2026 @ Silver Green Hotel, Kaura District, Abuja.
