Africa’s Wealth Paradox: A Bold Look at Africa’s Economic Reality

Africa’s Wealth Paradox on One Voice Africa TV is a thought-provoking program that examines one of the continent’s most pressing challenges, why a region so rich in resources continues to struggle with widespread economic inequality.

Hosted by Ajonye Emmanuella, the show explores how Africa’s long-standing role as an exporter of raw materials has limited its ability to build lasting wealth. By sending out unprocessed resources and importing finished goods, much of the real value is created outside the continent, leaving African economies at a disadvantage.

The program highlights the urgent need for industrial growth, local production, and stronger economic systems that keep value within Africa. It also draws attention to key barriers such as poor infrastructure and unreliable power, which continue to slow progress.
With its clear analysis and forward-looking perspective, Africa’s Wealth Paradox challenges viewers to rethink Africa’s position in the global economy and consider a future built on innovation, self-reliance, and sustainable growth.

Somewhere along the journey of life, many of us stopped living…
and started surviving.
Across Africa and beyond, there are people who are smiling in public,
but breaking in private — carrying broken dreams, silent pain, and unanswered prayers.
Young and old. Strong and tired. Faith-filled and still searching.
To Live Again was created for moments like this.
This is not about perfection.
It is about permission…permission to hope again, to believe again, to start again.
Through music, reflection, and shared Pan-African conversation, this space becomes a meeting point — where wounded hearts find healing, where culture meets faith, and where Africa remembers that its greatest strength has always been its people.
This concert is for the dreamer who fell, the leader who is weary, the believer who needs renewal, and anyone who knows that life, no matter how broken, can still begin again.
