I Honour Me! How to be Yourself and Honour Your Uniqueness❤️.

Session for teenagers on developing MePower, giving themselves the best gifts which is to honour their uniqueness, embrace who they are, love themselves, their gifts and talents.

Uniqueness means how you are different from everyone else in the world.

We read the story and watched how the The Sun, The Wind and The Rain discover their own unique gifts. And the teens had activities to do.

Have you ever thought about your own unique gifts? Do you think you are always being yourself? Are you giving the world the pleasure of engaging with the real you?

We are all unique and the world needs each and everyone one of us to be ourselves and honour our talents and gifts and those of others for the world to run smoothly.

All the teens at the session, mentioned that they have at least at a point, been someone other than themselves. What are their reasons? To fit in, because they thought they would appear better than they are, to please others, to feel better about themselves.

Being yourself is the best gift you can give yourselves and is one of the most powerful skills to teach kids.

Fear, Failure, Mistake and Change are the dragons that keep so many people away from their dreams.

Empowering teenage siblings on the How to Embrace Change and Thrive skill, using the Wisdom System.

The siblings were empowered with the skills of embracing change so they do not let their fear of the unknown hold them back, the 3 steps to managing change and they learnt that handling change build powerful self-confidence as they learn how to handle anything that comes their way.

Change is a critical part of life, small changes, big changes, changes we look forward to and those we see as bad. The way we choose to embrace change determines how we feel about it.

Do you discuss changes with children? Do you think of how the change affects them? How do you feel about change? How do you process changes in your life? We have all been going through major changes for a year now, you know how you feel, but have you asked how the children are feeling? This is on top of other changes they go through constantly, small ones and big ones.

Speaking to children about various changes in their lives these are some of the things they say:

1) No one has asked how I feel, if it has affected me
2) This situation has changed my life forever, I see the world differently now
3) Things will never be the same again
4) It’s not about me, so it doesn’t matter how I feel
5) I am fine, I don’t think about it
6) My Friends say I have changed, I know I have
7) I have trouble sleeping at night
8) I did not learn anything during virtual classes, I switched off
9) I wish they will sort themselves out once and for all and realise that this is affecting all of us
10) I miss my friends and old life

Who is talking to them about all the Minor and major changes that happen in their lives? Are you dealing with change in a healthy manner?

Remember you only have this one life, be and do it well. The only constant in life is change so make sure you choose YOU and embrace it to thrive.

What’s your self-talk?
Are you aware of what you are saying to yourself right now? What do you say about yourself and how do you talk about others?

Self-Talk is the Secret behind powerful self-esteem and self-confidence.

we empower kids with knowing what this skill is, why it is important, how to develop positive self-talk and how to switch from negative to positive self-talk.

Using a story and activities to learn this skill is fun, helps kids identify with the characters and/or situations in the story and internalise the skills. They don’t always realise they are learning.

Following up with parents and also empowering them and supporting them also enhances the learning and practicing of these Skills.

It all starts in the home, the idea is to practice, practice,practice so these skills become a habit?

Though we are experiencing many changes in our lives and we have been guided to transform, adapt, be and , we keep pushing forward in achieveing our and mission, which is to bring to all children.

At inner treasure this has meant virtual sessions, which has to be even more engaging, fun and simple as physical sessions. We do this whilst imparting necessary to children & caregivers.

As we send materials to clients for sessions, we keep in mind our vision, which is - A world of and citizens,empowered from childhood with wisdom skills to develop a of abundance, possibility, and passion, living purposeful, lives, honoring their uniqueness and joyfully learning along the way whilst enriching .

The session in the pictures focus on the skills: Understanding how our Shapes our World and How we can Shape our Mind & How to Build Neural Pathways so we burst through fear and nervousness, using the Adventures in Wisdom program.
