The Kaira Feminist Lab Signs Off -- But the Work Has Only Begun.

Today, BAOBAB for Women's Human Rights officially wrapped the inaugural cycle of the Kaira Feminist Lab, a four-week intensive regional programme that brought together young feminist advocates across Anglophone West Africa to transform policy literacy into power.

Over four weeks, our Vanguard did not just learn -- they built. They pitched. They challenged. They were assessed. And today, 38 of them were certified.

From pitch presentations to panel sessions, from graduation to the formal induction into the Pan-African Feminist Solidarity (PAFSO) Network, this closing ceremony marked not an ending, but a commissioning.

38 certified Vanguard advocates. 5 countries. 1 mission: making the Maputo Protocol a lived reality.

The fire inside The Kaira Feminist Lab is burning brighter!

We just wrapped up an incredible Session II: The Cluster Power Lab (Strategy), moving our 50 advocates from basic legal analysis to building a synchronized regional movement.

👑 Session Highlights:
Our country cells dove into "The Stakeholder Chessboard," learning how to map key actors and dismantle opposition arguments using evidence-based narratives.

We were deeply honored to have a graceful luminary for the week, Memory Zonde Kachambwa (Executive Director of FEMNET) drop massive gems on pan-African feminist solidarity 💯!

Our very own Executive Director, Yèyé Bunmi Dipo-Salami, was fully present to guide the cells.
