Celebrating Personhood, Memory, and Intergenerational Solidarity. 🪜💜

The launch of Àkàsọ̀: Same but Different was a powerful reminder that every generation has a place on the ladder. This slideshow brings you into the room where 65 years of the Nigerian feminist journey were finally documented and honored.

What started as an intergenerational dialogue at ICCEF has evolved into a collaborative archive of identity, courage, and resistance. Through the Àkàsọ̀ Philosophy, we explored how our stories are not left to memory alone; they are now written in our own voices to guide those coming after us.

From the bold unveiling of the FISP 3-Year Roadmap to the quiet moments of connection between mentors and mentees, we are making sure our history remains a living, breathing map.

Yesterday, we officially launched Àkàsọ̀ (The Ladder): Same but Different, a landmark anthology capturing 65 Feminist Voices Across Generations. This isn't just a book; it is a living archive of courage, resistance, and the lived experiences of Nigerian feminists.

What started as an intergenerational dialogue at last year has blossomed into a collaborative movement between , , ICCEF, and .
We are moving from reflection to documentation. From the Àkàsọ̀ Philosophy to the voices of our mentors and mentees, we are ensuring the feminist journey in Nigeria is never forgotten.
