We’re excited to share a major milestone in our journey at the Centre for Adolescent Health and Social Development — we are now officially registered with the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare.

Registration with the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare strengthens our credibility, deepens our access to national health and social welfare programs, and enhances our ability to collaborate with government agencies, development partners, and technical working groups. It positions the Centre for Adolescent Health and Social Development as a trusted stakeholder in Nigeria’s health ecosystem, enabling us to participate in policy dialogues, benefit from technical support, and operate seamlessly across communities with full regulatory backing. This recognition also expands our eligibility for government-supported initiatives and donor-funded opportunities, reinforcing our commitment to delivering impactful, compliant, and nationally aligned interventions for adolescents and vulnerable groups.

This year, the Centre for Adolescent Health and Social Development is partnering with the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Secure-D-Future International Initiative (SDF), the Federal Ministry of Youth and Development, the Girls and Women Speak Ambassador (GWSA), The Bridge Inspire Foundation, Mindstillery by Uchebo and AMNAJ Beauty House to commemorate Menstrual Hygiene Day Celebration 2026.

Tomorrow, 3rd of June 2026, we will stand together to create a — one where every girl is empowered, every voice is heard, and every barrier is broken.

From the AMAC Secretariat to schools across the FCT (Model Primary School Garki Village, JSS Kabusa, Government Day Secondary School Karu, GSS Gosa, JSS Dutse Alhaji and Government Secondary School Bwari), we’re spreading dignity, knowledge, and hope and equipping young girls with essential knowledge and resources that support their well being, confidence, and long term development.

Because menstrual health is not just a need — it’s a right.

Today, I took a moment to look through CAHSD’s records… and my heart is full.

We have implemented interventions in **30 schools** — mostly public schools — across the **FCT, Kebbi, Nasarawa, Niger, Lagos, and the South‑South region**, as well as **five communities**.

Some projects we executed alone, many others in collaboration with incredible partners, organisations, and individuals who share our passion for adolescent well‑being.

Why does this matter?

Because impact is not always measured in numbers.
Even if we reached just **50 students per school**, that is **50 lives touched**, **50 minds inspired**, **50 futures strengthened**.
Quality over quantity — always.

This journey spans our evolution from **One Aim Care**, to **Adolescent Health Hub**, and now the **Centre for Adolescent Health and Social Development (CAHSD)**.

To every volunteer — past and present — thank you.
Your dedication, your time, your belief in this mission have carried us since 2017. Truly, **one tree cannot make a forest**. You are valued, appreciated, and deeply cherished.

A special appreciation to these people who believed in this vision long before it became clear:

💫💫💫 - since 2014
✨ Ifedapo Agbeja— since 2015/2016
✨ Dr. Weyoms— since 2019

You saw possibility when I saw fear.
You offered guidance when the path felt uncertain.
You gave your expertise freely, just to help this dream take shape. Your encouragement, and generosity helped birth what CAHSD is today.
CAHSD holds your contributions with deep gratitude.

To all our incredible partners (especially Tulsi Chanrai Foundation Brain and Spine Ltd) who have walked this journey with us- thank you. Your collaboration, trust, and shared commitment have helped us reach schools, communities, and young people across Nigeria in ways we could never have achieved alone.

As we continue to move forward, may we keep our momentum high, keep the flag flying, and remain committed to improving the lives of adolescents across Nigeria.

Thank you, always. 💓💫

✨ Empowering the next generation, one conversation at a time! ✨
We had an amazing day at JSS Dutse, FCT, where the Centre for Adolescent Health and Social Development teamed up with the FCT NYSC Anti‑HIV CDS for a vibrant school outreach on HIV awareness + Drug Abuse prevention.
Over 145 bright students showed up with curiosity, energy, and big smiles—making the session truly unforgettable.
Here’s to healthier choices, stronger minds, and a future full of promise! 💛📚🌈

To the amazing team that made it happen, thank you 🙌 👏 ❤️

To aid community mobilisation for the needs assessment, we worked closely with one of the influential indigenes of the community. He also helped to recruit some of the volunteers that support the event 👏 👍 👌 😉
